Dichotomy Releases New Music Video

Melodic tech death quintet Dichotomy has released a video premiere for "...Of Strife Of Discord," which comes from new album "Paradigms." Check out the clip below courtesy of terrorizer.com.

Vocalist Kev O'Connor comments, "The song's title is a reference to Eris, Greek goddess of chaos, strife and discord. The song is about the destruction of the self and allowing chance to rule one's course; about becoming the embodiment of chaos.

"The video coincides with this theme with the character interacting with her 'other' and steadily becoming more corrupted over the course of the piece. The contrast between the two halves was shown in black and white, fitting in with the band's name as well."

The album's track listing is as follows:

1. Empyrean
2. The Sentient Oppressed
3. All - Seeing Eye
4. Polarity
5. No Catharsis
6. Covenant Of The Forsworn
7. Alea Iacta Est
8. ...Of Strife Of Discord More...

Dichotomy Streaming "Polarity"

Irish melodic/tech death quintet Dichotomy has posted a new song titled "Polarity," following the release of debut album "Paradigms" last week. Give it a listen below.

"Paradigms is about a multiple of things." comments lead guitarist Steven 'Rats' Rahaman. "The 5 of us wanted to get together and write music that we would be happy to listen to ourselves. we all individually have a varied taste in music and style so the music we created had allot of contrast so the name Dichotomy was chosen. The lyrics themselves in Paradigms create a collection of dichotomies. So in a nutshell you could say that 'Paradigms' is about the band name which is about the music."

The album's track listing is as follows:

1. Empyrean
2. The Sentient Oppressed
3. All - Seeing Eye
4. Polarity
5. No Catharsis
6. Covenant Of The Forsworn
