Atmospheric tech death collective Wrvth today issues a confounding video accompaniment to the track "Cease To Exist." The tune comes by way of the band's self-titled, full-length release via Unique Leader Records.
Elaborates bassist Taylor Preston of the fiery clip: "We decided to work with Cory Davis of Yellowbox Films again for 'Cease To Exist,' as we loved the work he did for our music video 'Malaise.' This song is the closing track to our self-titled release and it is fitting as it is also our closer for the year, musically speaking. As far as the creation goes, we wrote every part of the music to fit the lyrics.
"We put all our heads together to form something that we all felt was as fitting as it was meaningful. Even though the song has a seemingly straightforward interpretation, this song means something very different for every person in the band. We didn't write the song with a mindset of writing something relatable, in fact the events that inspired the song are all very specific and personal to each of us. We gave Cory the lyrics and artistic freedom to form a visual representation of the emotions in this song based on his own interpretation and the feelings the song may incite." More...
Atmospheric tech death unit Wrvth today issues part two of a live, in-studio video series with "Forlorn," which comes by way of the band's self-titled full-length, issued last year by Unique Leader Records.
The black and white performance clip was captured at Fang Studios with Nick Loiacono of FLYTRAPtv. "We feel the songs on our record are best represented in a live context," said the band in a collective statement. "'Forlorn' is especially one of those songs that a raw production lends to the song accordingly, lyrically, and musically."

California technical death metal collective Wrath Of Vesuvius, now more commonly known as Wrvth, recently joined forces with extreme metal powerhouse Unique Leader Records for the release of a third full-length this Spring.
Established in 2007, Wrvth self-financed the 2009 "A World In Peril" EP followed by 2010 debut long player, "Portals Through Ophiuchus," before piquing the interest of Mediaskare Records who released sophomore rager, "Revelation," in 2013.
Following two years of maniacal tour schedules, personnel shifts, and a wholly matured approach to the sound, Wrath Of Vesuvius will drop a self-titled third offering this Spring. Comments the band:
"We are beyond excited to be working with Unique Leader Records. They have always had cutting edge heavy bands that stand out among the modern metal scene. They're a solid label which means a lot these days, and we couldn't have asked for a better partner in taking our next step. We took a fresh approach to writing this record and its really starting to come together. This band has changed a lot over the last few years, and we think this record will display the distinctive character and eclectic personality that we bring to each song."
In related Wrath Of Vesuvius missives, the band will level stages alongside tech death behemoths/labelmates Inanimate Existence on a two-plus week takeover. The Enter Into Atonement Tour 2015 is scheduled for liftoff on February 26th in Stockton, California and will wind through eighteen cities with additional onstage demolitions will be announced in the coming months.
