WolveXhys Comments On Lineup Changes

WolveXhys has checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with two members:

"Over the past few weeks we have spoken about the departure of Shane (bass) and Rav (guitar) from the band due to various circumstances, Shane and Rav have been with us through thick and thin and have each decided to take the time to write in their own words the reasons behind their leaving."

Shane states: “So recently my commitments have shifted and I’ve had opportunities come my way based overseas which I cannot turn down and hence my commitment to the band is suffering so before this becomes a problem for the lads I’ve decided to step down from Wolvexhys, I’ve made some friends through this band that I’ll be in contact with for some time and me and the lads are on the same terms as if I was in the band. The future for Wolvexhys is looking bright and I wish the lads the best of luck!”

Rav adds: “I'm no longer in wolvexhys. Mainly because of musical differences. With the changes undergoing in Wolvexhys music wise I just don't see myself being a part of it. However in the next few weeks I am setting up a solo project in which I hope to be working with various different vocalists so yeah, keep an eye out. Peace”

The band also comments: "With this now being the case we feel it is necessary to announce also that we are NOT splitting up, we ARE finishing our new E.P and we are STILL going to be shooting a new music video however we have chosen to now remain as a four piece and so we will be introducing our brand new bassist when we release our brand new music video (Filmed by Ollie Norton/Mutiny Press) of a brand new track off our brand fucking new E.P of with artwork designed by Dan Wagner from D-Dub Designs, California (Veil of Maya, Bermuda, Structures, Volumes etc.).

"The future of this band is as Shane mentioned; 'bright,' but in order to do this and maintain we are going to be evolving from what you know of WolveXhys. Our debut album we released back in November 2013 'Servants of Penance and Purification' (available via Bandcamp and all major online digital distributers) included all of the aspects we wanted from our musical influences but very little influence from ourselves and mainly centered around the basis of 'Deathcore' as it’s played and known today. WolveXhys Splits With Label

WolveXhys has issued the following announcement about parting ways with the band's record label:

"It is with great regret that we have decided to part ways with our record label Fivebyfive Records. They have been with us since we first released the 'Enslaver' demo back in February and have been such a source of support for us throughout.

"Our debut album 'Servants of Penance and Purification' will continue to be released through them via all major online digital distributers for the next year as of December 9th including Itunes, amazon, HMV Digital, Spotify, Deezer etc.

"With that being said we are looking to move forward as a band and take ourselves places that practically wouldn't be suitable for FivebyFive Records being based in Canada. This decision was made due to recent events unfolding in our favour which as of this minute we can't announce however there are great things on the horizon for us.

"Please however take the time to check out 5x5 and all the incredible acts they have on their label.
Thank you again to our boy Marty!" More...
