From The Vastland Reveals Album Details

Iranian outfit From The Vastland is gearing up to release third full-length album "Temple Of Daevas" on October 6th, 2014 via Non Servian Records. The album was recorded at Skansen Lydstudio in Trondheim, Norway this past January.

Vegar "Vyl" Larsen and AndrĂˆ "Tjalve" Kvebek contributed drums and bass, while band mastermind Sina composed the songs and laid down all the vocals and guitar tracks. He was joined by Terje Olsen (Chton / Khonsu) as a guest vocalist for backing vocals of the album.

From The Vastland Signs With Non Serviam

Non Serviam Records is proud to announced the label has inked a deal with the Iranian / Norwegian black metal band From The Vastland.

The band's new album was recorded at Skansen Lydstudio in Trondheim, Norway in January 2014 and will be released on October 6th. Non Servian also comments:

"From the Vastland started out as a one man project fronted by the multi talented musician Sina. The first album of From The Vastland was released in 2011, named 'Darkness Vs. Light, The Perpetual Battle.' In 2013 From The Vastland released the second full-length album 'Kamarikan.'

"In 2013 they did a live performance at the Inferno Festival in Oslo. Frontman Sina was joined on stage by well known musicians such as Vegar 'Vyl' Larsen (Keep of Kalessin / Gorgoroth-live), AndrĂˆ 'Tjalve' Kvebek (1349 / Pantheon I / Den Saakaldte) and Thor Anders 'Destruchtor' Myhren (Morbid Angel / Myrkskog).

From The Vastland Releasing New Album

Iranian black metal band From The Vastland just released the "Kamarikan" album in physical format, with an international digital version coming soon. Indie Recordings comments on the group:

"We all know that there is a lot of great music out there, in countries where people are not able to express themselves freely and live out their visions and lifestyles as they please. One of these examples is Sina with his band From The Vastland from Iran.

"From The Vastland is a Black Metal project formed and brought to life in the autumn of 2010 by a courageous man named Sina. After spending more than 10 years in the well-hidden black metal scene in Iran, Sina was more than ready to stand up for his passion for music.
