Jeff Jonas Steps Down As Scarred Bassist

Jeff Jonas from Luxembourg death metal outfit Scarred just issued this statement online about stepping down as the band's bassist:

"It is with a heavy heart that I write these words, as I will be stepping down from being the bass player in Scarred. Both the band and I have decided that it will be best for the band if I focus 100% on the business side and will now be the official manager of Scarred.

"This has not been an easy decision but it’s a vital one for the development of the band. I hope all of you will respect this decision and will keep supporting Scarred the way you’ve been all the years before." More...

Scarred Releases "Cinder" Video

Luxembourg-based technical death metal collective Scarred just released a new music video for “Cinder” via BlankTV.

The track comes off the band’s debut full-length record “Gaia-Medea,” which was mixed and mastered by Jochem Jacobs (Textures) at Split Second Sound Studio and released in 2013 via Klonosphere Records. Watch the video directed by Yorrick Vaast in the player below.
