Swedish black metal force This Gift Is A Curse is streaming forthcoming album, "All Hail the Swinelord," in the player below. The album will be released internationally on October 16, 2015 and the group also comments:
"We feel that 'All Hail the Swinelord' is the band's best and most refined work yet. This concerns both our musical vision as well as its occult themes. The sharp violent chaos comes from the same black sludgy source as before. Yet this time, we are stabbing with more precision and aim, because we now know where to strike to deliver some real damage!"

"Hanging Feet" is taken from forthcoming album, "All Hail the Swinelord," due out on October 16, 2015. Regarding the track, the band comments:
"We wrote 'Hanging Feet' quite early during the songwriting process and really enjoy performing it live. In the beginning it consisted of a fast and a slow part, but we decided to drop the first and focus on the latter. This turned the track into a sludge anthem. Reducing the speed also suited the lyrics better, which deal with us wanting the world – as we have come to understand it – to end. Their author, J. A. Holmberg used esoteric symbolism to describe the process of seeing through the veil of reality as well as phasing out from it: 'I was never here at all / Dark father/ Take us home'." More...
The Swedish black metal instigators from This Gift Is A Curse have announced the title and album details for their Season of Mist debut, "All Hail the Swinelord." The band's new full-length will be released internationally on October 16, 2015.
The scathing track "Swinelord" can also be heard below. Regarding the new album, This Gift Is A Curse comments:
"When entering the studio, we were determined not to repeat what was done on previous recordings - instead we wanted to broaden our spectra of sound, making it even more dark and vicious at the same time letting melodies have a place as well as suggestive drone soundscapes. To be able to push our boundaries even further, we borrowed hands from fellow musicians, whom we had gotten to know during the years.
"This album thus contains guest vocals by Lillie Lindahl (Promise and the Monster, Stiu Nu Stiu), Johan G. Winther (Scraps of Tape) and Christina lom (Agrimonia). Their talent added a new dimension to the songs and to the album as an entity.
"The name of the record is 'All Hail the Swinelord,' and the record itself is a thematic album about the self-inflicted process of dehumanization and the loss of all notions of what we consider existence. A metaphysical and ritual guideline for the crossing of the final threshold. Into the shadows, to touch His black crown…" More...

The band previously issued the following statement about signing with Season Of Mist: "After negotiations back and forth ever since the release of our debut album, the planets finally came into alignment: we are proud to announce to have signed to Season of Mist. We have admired this label for years. We have all grown up listening to their numerous bands and releases, which have contributed to shape the very sound of what we like to call This Gift Is A Curse. A new full length album will be out in 2015. We can hardly wait to unleash it upon you!" More...

Season Of Mist also had this to say: "This Gift Is A Curse was ounded in Stockholm, Sweden by a chance meeting of vocalist Jonas A. Holmberg and drummer Johan Nordlund in late summer 2008. Combining elements of hardcore and sludge with influences from occult black metal as well as drone, they soon recruited guitarist Patrik Andersson and Lars Gunnarsson on bass. More...
Division Records will continue to spread huge doses of hard music in the coming months, starting with a collaboration between Monotonstudio Records and Discouraged Records consisting of an LP reissue of "I, Gvlt Bearer," the first full length album by the Swedish act This Gift is a Curse.
You can stream the full album in the player below or over at Bandcamp. Division Records also coments:
"In a few words: a crushing experience, distilling all its influences in a new configuration of extreme aggression. Combining the hatred of early & raw black metal with the heaviness of modern & metallic sludge hardcore. Suffocating, dark, dense, rich and personal, this music is a new step in the revolution of extreme metal.
"You've been warned, hell is upon you all! The LP repress will be it the stores & distributors in june but in the meantime, a full-album stream is available right now." More...
