2014 has been a busy year for Gothenburg, Sweden's Bombus. It started with a European tour supporting Monster Magnet, continued with a nice run of summer festivals including Download (UK), Rock Am Ring/Rock Im Park (Germany), and Tuska (Finland), followed by several months of studio work to record the successor to "The Poet And The Parrot." For Bombus the year will end with another great tour.
The band comments: "Just stumbled out of the studio with a hot new album in our hands! This one is a monster! Packed to the brim with all that is heavy, melodic and weird! It's called 'Repeat Until Death' and is everything a new Bombus album should be and then some! We will kick it all off with a tour in direct support of the mighty Clutch! And what could be more appropriate than to celebrate this with a brand new track? Well how about that? Over n' out!"

The story of Bombus begins in Gothenburg, Sweden where a bunch of friends who shared the same obsession for heavy music got together with a rough idea. They had the vision to play their own unique kind of "no bullshit metal and hard rock served with a slice of punk rock energy."

Gothenburg act Bombus not only put a lot of blood, sweat and beers in the recording of the band's Century Media Records debut "The Poet and the Parrot," but also in creating the artwork.

Gothenburg's Bombus has completed a second video for the band's Century Media debut album, "The Poet and the Parrot."
The video for "Enter The Night" was created by former bass player, Ulf Lundèn, who is now in charge of all the band's artwork. The band has teamed up with Metal Hammer to premiere the video, which can be viewed below.
Bombus comments: "'Enter the Night' is, obviously since we're using it as a video track, one of our favorites on the album. The song pretty much sums up what we're about as it starts out as an aggressive rocker and ends on a more barren note. Behind the video is ex Bombus bass player Ulf - who totally has outdone himself with this video - where he lets Bombus enter and travel through his version of the night. Enjoy and buckle up!"

Century Media Records is very pleased to welcome Sweden based metal outfit Bombus to the family. The label comments:
"Bombus was started in late 2008 in Gothenburg by axe men Feffe and Matte as a two-piece, but then they quickly emerged to a full band with Ulf (bass) and Peter (drums) joining the party. Heavily influenced by the greats of Motorhead, The Melvins, Metallica and Poison Idea, the newly arisen four-piece started to play their first live shows and evolve their own unique sound.
"After releasing three 7" singles and their praised self-titled debut album in 2010, the band matured greatly by performing many live shows throughout Europe, which earned them a massive die-hard fan base. Recently, a new bassist, Jonas, joined the band, which allowed Ulf to step back from his duties onstage to focus on the band's artwork and video clips. In the summer of 2011, Century Media Records discovered Bombus, and a deal was quickly signed. To start off this new relationship, Bombus will release a special single, as well as a full-length album, later this year via Century Media Records."
The band comments on the new partnership: "Bombus are proud to announce that we are teaming up with Century Media Records for the release of our upcoming album 'The Poet And The Parrot.' Century Media has always been a prominent label with a high quality roster, and we are happy as pigs in shit to now be a part of it." More...
