Extreme metal band Foreshadow entered Red Room Recorders in Tampa, Florida on February 1st to begin tracking for the upcoming album "Ashes of Forgotten Gods."
The engineering on the album is being handled by Chris Brickman, who has previously worked on albums for Obituary and Lacuna Coil. The band will resume tracking for three more songs this March and a late 2015 release is expected for the album at this time.
Foreshadow's original bassist Maggot has rejoined the band in time for the recording process for a new album. Since leaving Foreshadow when the initial line up disbanded in 2010, Maggot played with two notable Tampa metal bands: Ulcer & Forged With Blood.
Maggot's first official appearance back with the band will be on upcoming album "Ashes of Forgotten Gods," which will be released later this year. The band is currently working with Chris Brickman (Obituary & Lacuna Coil) on the production side of the album & the recording will be completed at Red Room Recorders.
The band comments: "We are really excited to have Maggot back in the line-up. We can't wait for everyone to hear him on our new album."
Extreme metal band Foreshadow will begin the recording process for a third release on January 18th, 2015 at Red Room Recorders in Tampa, Florida.
The album entitled "Ashes of Forgotten Gods" will be produced by Chris Brickman, who has worked on notable releases from Obituary & Lacuna Coil. A 2015 release is expected, but no date has been confirmed at this time.

On Saturday, October 4th the second annual IMEA Awards took place at the Paramount Theater in Ashland, Kentucky.
Thanks to the band's great fan support and acknowledgments from the International Music and Entertainment Association, extreme metal band Foreshadow accepted the award for "Metal Group Of The Year" 2014.
Aaron Robinson (Guitars) and Daniel McConaghy (Vocals) accepted the award on behalf of the remaining members.
Foreshadow originated in Tampa, Florida in early 2008; since that time the group has been blending the genres of death metal, black metal, and old school thrash metal to create its own unique sound. Foreshadow had this to say about the awards:

Florida metal band Foreshadow has checked in with the following announcement about splitting with the band's drummer:
"With sad news, recently we have parted with our drummer Kelly 'Kraken' McCormick. He was a great asset to Foreshadow, and came to us in a time that we really needed someone with his skills to make our U.S. tours last year happen. We will continue to work with him as our booking agent for North America."

Drummer Richard Hudson of Florida act Foreshadow has checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with the band:
"After serious deliberation and through much pain, I Richard Hudson must relinquish my position as drummer for Foreshadow effective immediately. It pains me to have to make this choice, however, due to significant health concerns, I can no longer continue with the band. I wish Foreshadow the best of luck in their future endeavours and apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause the band." More...
