Ramesses Announces New Releases

Ramesses, which consists of Mark Greening (drums), Tim Bagshaw (guitar) and Adam Richardson (bass, vocals), will return with two new releases later this year. The first upcoming release is a 12” vinyl and digital release titled "Chrome Pineal," which is due out on Ritual Productions on May 16th. The 12” features three brand new studio recordings and three live tracks, recorded in 2007. Ramesses will also release a new full-length titled "Possessed by The Rise of Magik" later this year.

Ramesses Working On New Album

Dorset, England's doom trio Ramesses recently completed their latest wave of European live dates, selling out most of the concerts on their ten date tour through France and Spain. The band is currently gearing up for a three day attack on British soil this week with support from Norway's Obliteration for a rampage through Newcastle, Birmingham and ending in London, at the Fenriz-curated Live Evil Festival this Saturday. The dates are as follows:

Ramesses is also preparing a new album for release. Tentatively set for a March 2011 release, the band has already captured ten new tracks for the upcoming 3rd full-length entitled "Possessed by the Rise of Magik."

Glorior Belli Comments On Upcoming Paris Show

French act Glorior Belli has issued the following announcement about performing an upcoming show in Paris alongside Ramesses and Eibon:

"For the first time since 2005, Glorior Belli responded positively to playing in Paris, assuring this would be a night to remember as Glorior Belli only make a few special live appearances each year. Their latest record 'Meet Vs At The Southern Sign' was released in June 2009 by Candlelight Record.

"Spawned in the bleak woodland of Dorset, England, Ramesses is a three-piece that has been disfiguring the innards of its army of devoted listeners since 2003 when original Electric Wizard drummer Mark Greening and guitarist Tim Bagshaw hooked up with Adam Richardson (bass + vox). 'Take the Curse', Ramesses' second album, was released in the first semester of 2009 via Ritual Productions.

Ramesses Enters The Studio

U.K. act Ramesses, who released the album "Take The Curse" on June 21st, has now issued the following brief update about entering the studio to record a follow-up release:

"Ramesses in the studio now! We are currently working on the follow up to Take the Curse, entitled Possessed by the Rise of Magic. 9 new live tracks recorded, plus some extra bits. More gory details to follow."

Ramesses Announces Album Release Show

U.K. act Ramesses has issued the following announcement about an upcoming album release party:

"Ramesses ‘Take the Curse’ - Album Launch Party: Rough Trade East / Friday 18th June / 6pm – 11pm (late closing) Ramesses live at 10pm, with very special guest DJs Jake and Dinos Chapman, and more. Palehorse Confirmed For Deathfest 2010

Guitarist Nige Rockett of British thrash metallers Onslaught has posted the following message regarding the bands appearance at the festival:

Unearthly Trance Announce European Tour

New York City’s UNEARTHLY TRANCE has announced a month-long European tour with special guests RAMESSES (ex-ELECTRIC WIZARD). This tour will kick-off in September in Antwerp, Belgium and is being sponsored by Ashdown Engineering and Jagermeister. UK doom band Ramesses are to release an EP called 'The Tomb' in the Spring. Produced by Billy Anderson, it will be on the Invada label. The band are to play a London show at the Purple Turtle in Camden on February 23, with Esoteric, Atavist and Obiat.

Ramesses Release Details And Gigs

Ramesses recorded a few tracks in late August at London's Fortress Studios. Two of these tracks -'RAMESSES II' and 'MASTER (YOUR DEMONS)' - will be featured on a split CD with NY band Negative Reaction, which is released this month on the up-and-coming Austrian label Psychedoomelic Records. Their first 7 inch will be out in January 2004 on the same label. Also scheduled for early 2004 release on Psychedoomelic, RAMESSES will have an exclusive track - 'BLACK DOMINA' -on the compilation 'Dreams of What Life Could Have
Been', alongside exclusive tracks from Fistula (OHIO), Negative Reaction (Long Island), Grief (Boston), Moss (UK), Soulpreacher (NC). There are a few more releases in the pipeline for early 2004 - details provided when confirmed.

RAMESSES are gearing up for a couple of live dates in the UK in December. They will be playing alongside Art of Burning Water, Taint, Like a Kind of Matador, Old Basford and Capricorns. There are two confirmed dates:
