Ektomorf Debuts New Music Video

Hungary's Ektomorf have released an official music video for "Numb And Sick," the sixth track off the band's upcoming studio album "Retribution." The song features a guest vocal appearance by Ektomorf's recent tourmate Cristian Machado of Ill Niño.

You can view the artwork and track listing for "Retribution" here. The album will be released in Europe on Friday, January 31st and in North America on Tuesday, March 4th.

Ektomorf Announces "Retribution" Release

One and a half years after the “Black Flag” album, it’s time to welcome the newest piece of work by Ektomorf, the band centered around charismatic frontman Zoli Farkas. “Retribution” is due out January 31st, 2014.

“Retribution” was again mixed and mastered by the band’s long-time producer Tue Madsen (Antfarm studios), and on the song “Numb And Sick,” the band welcomes Ill Niño vocalist Cristian Machado as a guest. The track listing is as follows:

Ektomorf Posts Additional In Studio Footage

Hungarian groove artists Ektomorf posted the fourth episode of "Ekotmorf TV," which is chronicling the recordings for the band's new album and follow up to 2012's "Black Flag." The title, date and track listing has not yet been announced, but the album is expected for release in 2014 via AFM Records.

Ektomorf Enters Studio, Posts First Video Blog

Hungarian metal band Ektomorf entered the studio to record the follow up to the 2012 release "Black Flag." The album title has not yet been revealed, but the band is recording 13 new tracks for the release.

70000 Tons Of Metal Posts Final Lineup

The annual 70000 Tons of Metal cruise posted the final lineup of bands for the upcoming event, which kicks off Monday, January 28, 2013 at the Port of Miami in Florida. On Friday, the final six bands were revealed to be: Nightmare, Threat Signal, Anaal Nathrakh, ETECC, Steel Engraved and Fatal Smile.

Ektomorf Posts "Unscarred" Video

Ektomorf has released a new music video for the song "Unscarred," which can be viewed below. The band has also issued the following announcement about a lineup change:

“Sadly Mike had to quit for family reasons. It was a great time with him playing music and we are still friends. There’s no bad blood between us at all. I had the intention to call Tamàs (Schrottner), our previous guitar player, again after two years. We had a great fucking talk the very next day. He joined us on the 'Unscarred' video shoot and now Tamàs is back in the band. We had a killer rehearsal and we are ready to kick asses on the 'Black Flag' tour! See ya all soon!”

The "Unscarred" track comes off the band's new album "Black Flag," released on August 31st, 2012.

“To make 'The Acoustic' album was a great experience for Ektomorf. I’m still very happy with what we created and I want to thank all Ektomorf fans for supporting us. But now with the new album we go back to the heavy stuff. The tons-of-bricks sound that is typical Ektomorf, but with a few surprises here and there.
