Distress Of Ruin Releases New Music Video

Finnish metal band Distress of Ruin has published a new music video for “Bystander Effect,” taken from latest EP “Predators Among Us.”

The music video is a result of the cooperation with media students from North Karelia College Outokumpu. Bassist Sami Tolonen comments: “The story and the brutality of the song take on a new meaning with the form of this well-executed animation. With animation you can create different kind of perspectives to the songs, which has been the goal in both of our music videos.”

The “Bystander Effect” music video ends the story of the “Predators Among Us” EP and now the band continues to work on new material. In the beginning of 2015 Distress of Ruin will begin recording new tracks. More...

Finland's Distress of Ruin has released a new music video for the track "The Ocean of Perdition," which can be viewed below. The band also comments:

"We chose to create a music video for this particular song because lyrically it encompasses the entire journey of Predators Among Us -- both the beginning and the end.

"The video was produced and created by Henrik Mennander. Check out his other works. The video was written by Lauri Ruotsalainen & Henrik Mennander."
