Freedom Call Announces U.K. Tour

German power metal band Freedom Call has announced that they will be embarking on a headlining tour of the United Kingdom this Novemeber, which will be in support of their latest studio album, "Legend of The Shadowking," as well as their first DVD, "Live In Hellvetia."

The tour dates are as follows:

Freedom Call Post European Tour Diary Online

German metallers FREEDOM CALL recently completed a European tour with HYDROGYN, NIGHTMARE and KRAGENS. A tour diary documenting some of the trek's highlights is available at this location.

FREEDOM CALL's video for the song "Far Away" can be viewed here. The track comes off the melodic metal band's latest album, "Dimensions", which was released in April via SPV Records. Most of the CD was recorded at the FC studios in Nürnberg. The drum parts were cut at the Area 51 in Celle by Daniel Zimmermann with the help of Tommy Newton (HELLOWEEN, KAMELOT, VICTORY), who also mixed and mastered "Dimensions". Freedom Call Issue Post Tour Update

Germany's FREEDOM CALL have checked in with the following update vocalist/guitarist Chris Bay:

Hey Callers,

The time was running away so fast on tour with PINK CREAM 69 and the guys of MAD MAX, so we already arrived at Nuremberg after the last show in Plzen/CZ.

We had an awesome time with Pink Cream 69 on the tour bus and also a good time with Vossie & Juergen of Mad Max so we're a little bit sad that the shows are gone...

A big Cheerz to the exellent crew with basi (sound), michael (lights), danny (guitars) and chris (drums)... they did an great job and helped in every situation!

Also cheerz to Maikel, who recorded a couple of shows with his camera...

But, the biggest CHEERZ to YOU, for visiting our concerts and the fantasic support you gave us!!

The next show for us will be in Belgium on November 10th and further in France... we're looking forward unpatiently :)

Freedom Call Announce New Guitarist

German power metallers FREEDOM CALL have announced the addition of 26-year-old guitarist Lars (no last name given) to the group's ranks. The band's new lineup is now complete, having recently added bassist Armin Donderer as the replacement for Ilker Ersin (now in POWERWORLD). "We will start to practice early in December, so that we'll be [well] prepared for the upcoming tour with RAGE in March 2006," the band write on their web site.
