"Hey first off we want to apologize that we're not able to make our 3 Canadian dates in Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa. Our fill in drummer John tore a ligament in his right shoulder last night after the Buffalo show. We promise to make up these shows as soon as we can. Once again from the bottom of our hearts we apologize! We love Canada and you guys always support us 100%, so it's killing us not to be there the next 3 days. See you guys soon."

It Dies Today have announced that their upcoming album "Lividity" will be released through Trustkill Records on September 15th. The band has posted a teaser trailer for the album online, which can be viewed below. More...
It Dies Today's new studio album "Lividity" is now officially set for a September 15, 2009 release date via Trustkill Records.
Singer Jason Wood checked in to say, "We're really pumped about this new record and finally releasing it for our fans! This week Mike Hatalak (producer/guitarist) is in final mix sessions for the album and we have also finished several cover songs including a cover of Duran Duran's "Come Undone" as well as Alice In Chains "Them Bones". We know alot of fans are curious about the delays with this new album, but we assure you, if we could have gotten it to you sooner we would have! We have had so many problems with the studio we build to record this album. After spending close to $12,000 on building a completely enclosed soundproofed studio in the house that Mike (Hatalak) and I lived in and spending over 2 months finishing pre-production and tracking, our efforts were thwarted with a forced move out of the house. That move forced us to tear down our entire studio (salvaging about $2,000 of materials) within a holiday weekend. So we moved to a new house and rebuilt the studio and are now finally finishing all mixes. I'm looking forward to hearing reactions from our fans and foes and hopefully this album will make up for the long wait!"
Look for the band to announce a US headline tour kicking off in September, and a European/UK tour to kick off in November.
Pre-Order packages and new merch will be available at the band's new webstore.
It Dies Today has announced that their forthcoming new studio album, "Lividity" has been pushed back until March the third. A statement from the band reads as follows: "So everyone, you might be wondering why the record didn't come out (January 27th).
"We've had some serious set backs throughout the process of trying to finish Lividity and put it out. It was supposed to hit shelves last fall then January 27th, but with the problems we incured; such as having the house we built our studio in getting sold from beneath us subsequently putting us on the street for close to a month, putting together the making the record DVD, and the making of the 'Thank You For Drinking' video (both to be released with the album!), as well as the struggle to work our regular day jobs to stay afloat for the holidays. Walls Of Jericho "The American Dream"
Bleeding Through "Death Anxiety"
It Dies Today is currently in their own self-built Buffalo, New York recording studio working on their new album. Singer Jason Wood had the following to say:
"We've actually built a studio in the house that Mike Hatalak (our guitar player, engineer and main writer) and I live in together. It has given us an amazing dynamic to work with for this record. We have limitless resources as well as a phenomenal amount of freedom. It's one of those things as a musician you grow up always wanting to have available in your living situation. A place to record whenever you have an idea or whenever you feel creatively superb, We've never been in a more comfortable or creative atmosphere in our lives!"
Titled "Lividity," the effort is slated to hit stores on January 27th via Trustkill Records.
Wood elaborates: "We're really pumped about this new record! Lividity is a medical term (as I am a huge fan of CSI) that means when you die all your blood in your body settles, so where you're lying is a bruise covering that part of your body. Metaphorically, for example, someone whose life is very stagnant or unmotivated. Now I'm sure everyone who cares has heard the rumors of a heavy record, well it's true! We're writing a lot more 'Caitiff Choir' like riffs and we're working on a more raw and ballsy atmosphere for this record. Expect sincerity, passion, and FUCKING POWER!"
It Dies Today has posted a demo of a brand new song entitled, "Thank You For Drinking" online. You can check it out at their official Myspace. The song comes from their new album, "Lividity" which is expected to be released in early 2009.
Vocalist of Alaskan metallers, 36 CRAZYFISTS, Brock Lindow issues the following statement regarding the band’s upcoming five months of non-stop touring:
“MAYHEM is all wrapped up, and it was the greatest summer ever! Hanging out with all the awesome bands and crews was something we will never forget. Now, charging full steam ahead into the fall with so many shows to play, it’s really gonna be a killer end to this already awesome year for us! We'll see everyone at the shows!” More...
It Dies Today has officially dropped off their previously announced tour with Bury Your Dead and The Ghost Inside.
Singer Jason Wood explains: "Mike [Hatalak, drummer] has 4 herniated discs in his back and some slight nerve damage, and won't be able to tour for a bit (we will however be finishing the Walls Of Jericho dates)... Sorry, and we'll see you soon."
IT DIES TODAY has just announced a new tour and a new music video for their upcoming album. The band will kick off a tour in August with labelmates Walls Of Jericho as well as 36 CrazyFists and more.
Their new album, "Lividity," will be out in early fall and the band is in the studio now recording. They will be filming the first video off the new album for the song "Thank You For Drinking" next week.
Singer Jason Wood checked in with an update on the video and song: "The song's slogan, like a double-entendre, translates into a so-called friend that through drinking on their own accord shows their true personality. For example, a good friend that ends up being an asshole afte getting drunk at a party or bar."
The video will be shot on location at a bar the band fequents in Sanborn, NY called "The Walmore Inn." The video will feature a friend of the band who's had too much to drink before he even gets to the bar and proceeds to start shit with everyone throughout the song, until the band has had enough and starts a bar fight. Keep your eyes peeled for the video in July, and some webisodes of the writing and recording process from It Dies Today.

It Dies Today is currently working on a new album. The effort has been titled "Lividity" and will be available this fall via Trustkill Records. Singer Jason Wood elaborates:
"We're really pumped about this new record! Lividity is a medical term (as I am a huge fan of CSI) that means when you die all your blood in your body settles, so where you're lying is a bruise covering that part of your body. Metaphorically for example someone who's life is very stagnant or unmotivated. The common theme of the record is going to be character flaws such as the song 'Nihility,' about nihilism or absolute destructiveness. We've decided to record the album ourselves seeing as we have an amazing engineer (Mike Hatalak) in the band. The plus side to this, is that we have endless time in the studio to perfect the record. Now I'm sure everyone who cares has heard the rumors of a heavy record, well it's true! We're writing a lot more 'Caitiff Choir' like riffs and we're working on a more raw and ballsy atmosphere for this record. Expect sincerity, passion, and fucking power!"

Self proclaimed "death rap" artist Necro has issued the follwing statement from his official Myspace:
"I decided to leave the tour collectively with my manager and booking agent (both tour organizers) because we felt the tour’s demographic was not receiving hip hop well. I was facing hostile, disrespectful crowds and was returning the same energy back ten-fold by being more aggressive than them.
It was making a lot of people in the tour crew nervous and there was concern someone might get hurt (NOT ME). It was also being suggested that maybe I tone down my live show and not antagonize the already antagonistic crowd. I couldn’t roll with that as it’s not my style. I was holding back enough as it is but there is a line. All the bands on the tour loved us and everyone behind the scenes knew we displayed major heart and never once got phased by the hostility. We finished every show with middle fingers up and a big "Fuck You" to the crowd.
I will make one thing clear for the haters: we NEVER got booed OFF the stage. Not once. Yes a ton of emo kids booed us at every show, but we had a twenty-five minute set every night and we stayed on stage for every minute of it, and we represented. Every show had at least 100 to 200 Necro fans in the pit tearing it up, and our meet and greets were incredible!
It’s just a shame these little kids are so close-minded. The majority of the hate was coming from mop top emo sixteen-year olds who have no clue who the originators of metal are, and didn’t respect my rest in peace chant to metal legends (Dime, Cliff, Chuck, Piggy, SOB).
As far as the tour organizers and I are concerned, you are my people so it’s all love and I’m thankful for the opportunity to prove I can murder it in the worst of situations. This actually did a lot for me and is just one move in many my team will make to blow Necro up"
