Antropofago Recruits Gorod Guitarist

France's Antropofago (not to be confused with Antropofagus) has boasted guitar-crafting wizard Hugo Mermet (maker of custom guitars for Gorod, Insain and many more) in its ranks for most of the band's existence.

However, it has always been understood that a time might come where Mermet's business would hinder his ability to be a full-time contributor to Antropofago. That time came recently when the band was at work on upcoming full-length album, "Aera Dementiae."

Antropofago Premieres New Music Video

In our latest collaboration with the rising indie label Kaotoxin Records, we are proud to premiere today the new music video for "Paranoid Visions (Pt.2)" from Antropofago. Check out the clip below.

French act Antropofago self-released the debut full-length "Beyond Phobia" in 2011. At the time, the brutal death metal outfit had no drummer and in 2012, preparing to sign with Kaotoxin Records, Antropofago recorded several tracks with a drum machine for convenience.

Now officially signed to Kaotoxin and with a real drummer in the ranks, the band has released three of those tracks as the "Between Fear and Madness" digital EP. The group is also now recording a second full-length album, while the original debut was re-released in February.

The "Between Fear and Madness" EP is available for free download at this location. The full track listing is as follows:

1. Cannibal Way of Life
2. Paranoid Visions (Pt.2)
3. Bloodred Honeymoon More...
