White Widows Pact Streaming New Single

With the release of debut full-length "True Will" coming up on October 16, White Widows Pact reveals new single "This Thing of Ours" today. The track features guest vocals by Cancer Bats front man Liam Cormier and can be heard below.

From Brooklyn, New York, White Widows Pact stands right at the center of that city's booming metal scene with a sound that rips and grooves, nodding equally to Crowbar, Obituary, Napalm Death, and Madball. Frontman Dave Castillo also co-owns the famed Saint Vitus Bar, New York's home base for live metal.

White Widows Pact has revealed the opening track off upcoming debut album "True Will" – stream "Landlord" in the player below.

The Brooklyn quintet showcases a Madball-meets-Crowbar sound on "True Will," also giving a nod or two to Napalm Death's mid-90s output on the ripping "Landlord."

Culture Killer Headed Out On Tour With Ringworm

Culture Killer will be heading north from the band's home base of Florida next month to tour with Ringworm.

The tour, which also features White Widows Pact, kicks off in Pittsburgh on August 16th. This will be an extra special set of shows: Ringworm will be performing the "Justice Replaced by Revenge" album in its entirety, so don't miss out!

More details about the upcoming Culture Killer album will be made available throughout the next few months. The album is expected to be released this fall.

White Widows Pact Finishes Recording LP

NYC-based mob White Widows Pact now confirms that the tracking of an impending debut LP has been completed.

The album was captured at the Wild Arctic with Dean Baltulonis over the past several weeks, and is being finalized now for release on a label to be determined later this year.

In the meantime, White Widows Pact has been unloading new material from the upcoming album live. The band also recently hooked up with Converse for an installment of their Rubber Tracks Sessions, the quintet laying down an ultra-gritty, sludge-groove hardcore version of one of Nirvana's early works, "Negative Creep." Check it out below.

White Widows Pact will also head north on tour in several weeks, from May 4th through the 20th. The trip will take the band into Canada for several shows including three shows in as many days at Toronto's CMW gathering. After six shows in Canada, WWP will embark on a seven-show run with Detroit-area hardcore quintet, Hollow Earth.

White Widows Pact Releases New Video

The Summer is lining up to the busiest season yet for Brooklyn-based White Widows Pact. The band recently changed the moniker (previously known as White Widows) due to a legal snafu brought on by another outfit, and will pummel audiences over the coming months on the road and more.

First up, today the White Widows Pact drops a first official video through MetalSucks. “El Marrano” hails from the band’s White Widows debut EP, released over the Winter via Sacrament Music. Filmed and directed by Frank Huang with additional footage provided by Yessica Curiel Montoya and Chris Montgomery, the high-action black and white visual depiction of the anthem was filmed at a recent gig at Sacrament Music’s home base at Saint Vitus Bar, and includes a vocal interjection by Brendan Garrone of NYC hardcore act Incendiary.

White Widows Streaming Full New Album Online

The self-titled debut release from White Widows - a Brooklyn metal quintet formed by members of Cleanteeth, The Destro, Grudges and Primitive Weapons - is out now via Sacrament Music.

Today the full album has been let out of its cage via BrooklynVegan. Stream "White Widows" from start to crushing finish at this location. According to a press release, the album consists of “90s-influenced hardcore with parts that would sound at home on on a Crowbar or Pantera effort.”

White Widows will storm Brooklyn’s The Acheron with Pittsburgh crust warriors Heartless this Saturday night, followed by a pair of shows with cohorts Mutilation Rites and Seattle deathbeaters Black Breath in Brooklyn and Philly this April.

Today Sacrament Music drops the first single from White Widows, a Brooklyn metal quintet formed by members of Cleanteeth, The Destro, Grudges and Primitive Weapons.

The second track from White Widows' self-titled debut release, “El Marrano” also features guest vocals from Incendiary vocalist Brendan Garone, and hits as an exclusive via the band’s cohorts at MetalSucks, who introduce the track thusly: “Never before have power groove, sludge and hardcore-style vocals meshed so well together; it’s like if Vinnie Paul sat in with Crowbar and asked Jacob Bannon to get up on stage and sing.”

White Widows To Release Self-Titled Album

Brooklyn-based Sacrament Music, founded at the beginning of 2013 by the owners of Saint Vitus Bar/Club, has already announced its second release for the year. Following the label’s recent virgin signing announcement for the debut from local cohorts Sannhet, Sacrament now confirms the pending debut from newly-formed metallic hardcore outfit White Widows. The following press release was issued about the band:

"Formed by drummer Kenny Appell (Goes Cube, Cleanteeth), bassist Brian Ponto, guitarists Nick Emde (The Destro) and Travis Bacon (Grudges), and vocalist David Castillo (Primitive Weapons, Saint Vitus Bar, Sacrament Music), White Widows merges NYC-style metallic hardcore and Southern sludge metal elements and production into mid-paced metallic grooves, slow-motion breakdowns and high-paced pit-swinging melees diversifying the flow over the self-titled debut’s twenty-four minute lifespan.
