Arvas To Record New Album

Norway's Arvas has checked in with the following announcement about entering the recording studio:

"We are soon going to tell you more about our concert schedule for this year. As many of you may know, we are focusing on recording our new album now this summer, starting in two weeks with the drums, tightly followed by guitar, bass and vocal sessions.

"This new album 'Black Satanic Mysticism' may or may not be released this year, it is all depending on some business issues, but if not in 2014, at least early in 2015 before March.

"We will also reveal exact dates, countries, venues and cities we will destroy when the time is right!

"One thing is for sure, 2014 is a slight warm up for 2015 which we hope will be a busy year for us. Stay tuned, share our site everywhere, buy merch and our albums and you WILL be granted eternal devotion!"

Arvas Splits With Drummer

Norwegian act Arvas recently signed with Aeternus Tenebrarum Music Foundation for the release of the "Into The Realm Of The Occult" album later this year. Now the band has also checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with drummer Fordervelse:

"Fordervelse is no longer a part of the band... Now, I guess one wonders why I came to this conclusion, to 'fire' a long time friend and partner. Well there are reasons for everything, and there are facts to the matter one simply don't want to share with everyone simply because they are supposed to stay between the involved parties.

"This is between Fordervelse and I and of course it is tragic and sad, for the band and for him, and even for me. I see no reason to comment this matter any further. I wish him good luck in future projects he may join in on and so forth.

"As for Arvas now, I will go on, the two next album releases will be released as scheduled under the ATMF banner. Arvas will also continue to play live sooner or later!"
