Gothenburg black metal group Waning has decided to call it day, but the members have gone on to create a new entity. The band comments:
"ATTENTION - Waning is no more. For all of you who have followed us over the years, we kindly direct to our new musical endeavor, Ov Shadows. Take the opportunity to check out our newly released EP 'Monologues.' Waning is dead; long live Ov Shadows."

Swedish act Waning has posted a video clip online for the song "At the Peak of Indifference," which is the first published track off the band's forthcoming new album. Check out the song below, and Waning also commented:
"We know that you as well as we care a lot about Christmas... Hence, we did what we could to deliver our video in time. 'At the Peak of Indifference' should hopefully spread some of that warm, fuzzy Christmas shine to all of your families. Anyhow, we have been struggling to get music and the video in place and we hope you will enjoy it."
