Deadlands Posts New Music Video

Sacremento based metal act Deadlands, featuring Ex-Vicious Rumors vocalist Brian O'Connor (Consfearacy), posted a music video for the song "Deadlands." The track appears on the band's debut LP "Evilution," which was issued in mid-February through Massacre Records.

Massacre Records Comments On Signing Deadlands

Massacre Records has issued the following announcement about inking a deal with Deadlands:

"We're excited that Deadlands' debut album will be released via Massacre Records! The band was formed in the summer of 2010 by lead vocalist Brian O’Connor (Consfearacy, ex-Vicious Rumors), lead guitarist Michael J. Gardner (The Council), lead guitarist Kevin Rohr (Spectre), bassist extraordinaire Steve “Dedbass” Northam and drummer Danny Sablan (HateFX, The Council).

"Their intention was to write and produce their own brand of heavy metal, while utilizing their past and present influences as a foundation and inspiration for their musical direction.

"Deadlands is quickly establishing a large fan base, being nominated for a 2012 Sacramento Area Music Award (SAMMIES), playing live, and sharing the stage with artists such as Exodus, Anvil, Y&T, Great White, Death Angel and more.

"Deadlands' debut album features guest solo appearances by legendary heavy metal guitarists: Hank Shermann (Mercyful Fate), Michael Denner (Mercyful Fate/King Diamond), Andy LaRocque (King Diamond), Claudeous Creamer (Dragonlord), Mike Wead (Mercyful Fate/King Diamond), Glen Alvelais (Forbidden/Testament/HateFX) and Steve Smyth (Nevermore/Forbidden)."

Deadlands Streaming Track "Pandemic Genocide"

Sacramento's Deadlands is streaming the new track "Pandemic Genocide." The song appears on the band's debut LP "Evilution," which was issued earlier this year through Molten Metal Records, but which will now see worldwide distribution through Massacre Records on February 22, 2013.

Founded in 2010, Deadlands features vocalist Brian O'Connor, who sang for Vicious Rumors on the 1998 "Cyberchrist" LP.
