Cleanteeth To Release "Pushing Rope"

Cleanteeth has checked in with the following announcement about releasing the "Pushing Rope" album:

"Friends, lovers, enemies, and people who sell candy on the subway - After many years as a band, we are finally giving our album to you in exchange for money (or tuggos). It will be released on October 15th on vinyl and all the major digital systems from whence you prefer to ingest your musical waveforms including but not limited to Spotify, Rdio, Itunes, Amazon, and some ancient fossilized mechanism known as 'MySpace' (just kidding it wont be on MySpace).

"The double LP will be available through our good friends (with benefits I'd describe as 'toothy') at Dullest Records so make sure you follow their FB page for updates about preordering and post-ordering.

"This album, titled 'Pushing Rope' is a 12 track LP, produced by Alap Momin at Deadverse Studios and mastered by Jamal Ruhe at West West Side. It represents a collection of songs we have written throughout our years as a band and we hope that you listen to it at levels that make you uncomfortable so that you can try to sue us for hearing damage (we have good lawyers [legal disclaimer: please dont sue us])."

Cleanteeth Announces "Crush Your Teeth" Tour

Brooklyn-based Cleantetth this week confirms the band’s most intensive tour to date this May, in advance of a pending debut LP. Dates for the "Crush Your Teeth" tour are available below, and the following press release was issued about the band:

"Cleanteeth's first album Pushing Rope demands attention, with forty-two minutes of sinister doom metal combined with bruising rhythms and raucous swells played on four stacks higher than the tallest band member. Within the first ten seconds of Pushing Rope, thunderous riffs echo out of three guitars while ominous licks force heads to bang with rhythmic precision.

"Fans will recognize influences ranging from Will Haven, KEN Mode, Harkonen and Harvey Milk to Breather Resist, Gaza, and Godflesh, yet Cleanteeth's sound is uniquely its own; a crushingly beautiful array of electric noise and soul-punching drum beats that will make you want to break something and come back frothing at the mouth for more. Pushing Rope will be available on vinyl from Dullest Records in the coming weeks; stay tuned for further details.

"Formed in 2008, Cleanteethis a massive sonic quintet comprised of veterans in the New York metal scene, featuring members of Goes Cube, Hull, Destructo Swarmbots, Godmaker, and White Widows. Cleanteeth To Release Debut LP

Be prepared to have your face peeled back by Brooklyn-based quintet Cleanteeth: a collective of veteran musicians with previous attachments to notable acts Destructo Swarmbots, Hull, and more, as well as current members of Goes Cube and White Widows.

Cleanteeth recently recorded a debut LP, which will be released in early 2013 on a label to be confirmed in the near future. In the meantime check out newly acquired live footage of the unit destroying Saint Vitus Bar as direct support for Eyehategod at the end of November via Metal Injection. The following press release was also issued about the band:

"Formed in early 2008 as an experimental noise project, Cleanteeth has since evolved into a crushing array of loud rock, doom metal and electronic noise, influenced by the likes of Karp, Butthole Surfers, Godflesh and My Bloody Valentine, yet with a crushing, sinister, post-hardcore edge fans of Kiss It Goodbye, Breach and Will Haven can get down with. Following a three-song demo recorded with Brendan Tobin (Made Out Of Babies, Red Sparowes) on Halloween of 2009, the outfit’s underwent several personnel expansions, the current lineup just one member short of a six-pack now complete.

"Now, bringing forth their triple-guitarist attack boasting more full-stacks than band members, Cleanteeth takes a wall-of-sound approach to creating its own bastard blend of thunderous riffage. With this ruthless faction continually raiding clubs throughout the NYC area and beyond, the band has shared beer-soaked stages with Eyehategod, Kylesa, Priestess, Saviours, Harvey Milk, All Pigs Must Die, Narrows, Trap Them and many others, and will continue to bleed ears dry as new gigs are being devised for the coming months and through 2013."
