Italian Death Metal Group Devangelic has revealed the details of sophomore album "Phlegethon". The album will be released October 27 on Comatose Music.
The artwork was created by U.S. artist Ken Sarafin (Sarafin Concepts) and is based on Dante's Inferno; the concept revolves around a journey through the darkest and most brutal elements that characterize the masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance Poet.
Phlegethon will consist of 100% pure U.S. style brutal death metal mixed with unrelenting guitar riffs, dark atmospheres, intense blasting and ultra guttural vocals. The album will be mixed/mastered by Sasha Borovykh at TsunTsun Productions. Comatose Music will open pre-orders in the coming months. Prepare yourself for this infernal journey!

"Happy New Year to everyone! We are proud to announce that Marco Coghe is our new official drummer!
"Marco (also drummer in Cranial Sickness / Catastrophic Evolution) already played with us at the Greek Brutality Over Sanity in Athens (last November) and he'll be behind the drum kit for the upcoming international live appearances and, of course, the next Devangelic albums, with his intense drumming and precise style, adding also his extra heaviness for a massive live sound.
"We already started to work at the new tunes with his drums arrangements and sound so incredible, better than expectation, more complex, various and totally better compared to the debut album 'Resurrection Denied;' proud to work with this such a talented guy for our second release, out problably in early 2017, for Comatose Music. You'll not be disappointed! We want to thanks also all the other drummers who sent their videos for the auditions!"
