Idillicah has posted the band's entire discography online as pay-what-you-want downloads, which can be found via bandcamp. You can also stream the "Rebirth of the Future" and "Acoustic Sessions At Black Door Studios" releases in the players available below. The band comments:
"We've reached a very important milestone in our career: with 5 years under our belt, we've decided to make our complete discography available to ALL our fans. For the first time, you can get our complete discography (over 20 songs), paying what you want for it! The discography consists of:
"1. 'Two coins for the Ferryman' (Single) (2007): A single comprised of only one song, Two Coins for the Ferryman was recorded in collaboration with Paraguayan vocalist Dayana Urunaga, and Canadian guitarist Even Brennan. Using Greek mythology as inspiration, this power ballad would be the end of an era for Idillicah, but it would show something that would characterize the band to this day: collaboration with other artists.
"2. 'Shining Light' (EP) (2008): The first physical release from the band, and the first symphonic metal material to feature female soprano vocals from Paraguay, this 4-song EP opened many doors, both in Paraguay and the world, and would be the first mix of opera vocals and metal instrumentation that would later become an Idillicah hallmark.
"3. 'Rebirth of the Future' (LP) (2010): Our debut full-length album, Rebirth of the Future would be the result of over 2 years of dedicated hard work in collaboration with over 10 artists from around the world. First released by the Argentinian label Hellbound Records in 2010, and later re-released in Europe by Scottish label Azreal Records in 2011, this edition features all 10 songs from the original release, plus all 3 bonus songs from both releases, making it a total of 13 songs!
"4. 'Acoustic sessions at Black Door Studios' (EP) (2012): This EP, recorded live in various sessions in 2011, represents a completely different direction for Idillicah, who, looking for more intimacy with their fans, presented 4 songs recorded only with vocals and acoustic guitar. 3 covers and an acoustic version of the original favorite 'Gone' deliver this minimalist facet of the band.
"All of this is available NOW for download, in the format of your choice, on our BandCamp website. And you name the price! The funds procured from this release will be used to finance pre-production for the next full-length release, which will be launched in 2013!" More...
