Goatwhore has announced three upcoming tours, alongside The Absence, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Watain. Vocalist Ben Falgoust has commented on the upcoming tour schedule:
"Just when one tour comes to an end another few step into place. We have, as always, put an extreme effort on touring for each release we put out. Our most current release, Carving Out The Eyes of God, is no exception and has brought us on many great touring adventures. Just returning home from Ozzfest 2010 we find ourselves locking in the rest of the year with two excellent tours. First, alongside our good friends in The Black Dahlia Murder, then a final end of the year outing with the black art of Watain. The Ozzfest experience was a great thing to be a part of. Playing and hanging with good friends and the bonus of watching some legendary musicians that have influenced us from our earlier metal years. We are looking forward to finishing up the year and getting things rolling for the next release. Hope to see everyone on the road in the next couple of months."
Drummer Zack Simmons adds: "This has been a great time touring for this record. We've been very fortunate to been included on a lot of good tours. It was an honor to be included on Ozzfest once again. We are very confident and determined to deliver another killer record and tour our asses off again, as we always do! Stay fuck!!! Stay thirsty, my friends! P.S. Be careful where you store your sewing needles. You never know what can happen…"

The Black Dahlia Murder guitarist Ryan Knight has issued the following announcement about offering guitar lessons in the Chicago area:
"Hey peoples, Ryan here. I will moving to the Chicago area soon (Lakeview area specifically), and will be giving guitar lessons. Those who are interested in learning technique (palm muting, legato playing, tapping, sweeping, alternate picking, hybrid picking, hammer ons from nowhere), basic theory (scales/modes, intervals, relative major/minor, triads), song/solo structure, ear training, and timing I think will find these lessons quite useful.
"I am a mainly self taught musician myself, and I think this would be a fun opportunity to share what I have learned over the years. Lessons will be 25 for half an hour, and 30 for a full hour. I'm primarily interested in teaching those who consider themselves in the beginner to intermediate levels, but I'm not opposed to advanced students either. If you are interested, please contact me with your info and what you would like to learn here firstname.lastname@example.org."

Toxic Holocaust and tour partners The Black Dahlia Murder are at the center of a heated debate amongst Nashville, TN’s most conservative residents about the bands’ performances tonight at the Christian-run Rocketown venue. A news segment from Nashville’s ABC network affiliate WKRN, Channel 2 chronicling the controversy can be viewed here.
Toxic Holocaust's Joel Grind commented on the situation: “Unfortunately, the protesters here don't see the tongue-in-cheek aspect of any of this, and are taking everything at face value. What else is new? Whatever you do don't look into or research anything, and don't, god forbid, think differently. Fuck it, while we're at it, don't think at all. To clear a few things up, there was a news clip that showed our video 'Nuke the Cross' and then directly cut to lyrics for a song called 'Hang the Pope.' Even though we did record a cover of that song on our first demo, that song is actually by Nuclear Assault. I think that was done intentionally to make the story have more impact and more shock value. More...
