According to PyroMusic.com, "with the departure of both of their guitarists (Petar Peri and Matt Sorrenson), Sydney Australia's INFERNAL METHOD have disbanded with no plans to reform. This break-up means all currently booked shows will not be able to be fulfilled. Infernal Method have apologized to everyone affected by the cancellations and thank their fans for their support. No doubt you'll see the members in their various other projects, a couple of which, I'm sure are set to gain momentum rapidly in the coming weeks and months."
Dark Tranquillity played Sydney last night to a packed Manning Bar. They were supported by Melbourne's Alarum and Sydney locals Infernal Method (who, surprisingly, had founding member Pete Peric back in the fold).
Pyromusic.net has posted a load of photos of all bands, plus video and audio of the entire new Dark Tranquillity song 'Where Death Is Most Alive'. You can check it all out here.

After a brief hiatus (during which two members of the band joined and then left Aussie power metallers DUNGEON), Australia's INFERNAL METHOD have reformed and will shortly release their long-awaited new studio album.
INFERNAL METHOD split up last July, citing "ongoing straining of relations between us regarding musical direction, general management and so forth," according to guitarist Peter Michael Peric.
One of Australia's premiere metal acts, Infernal Method have today announced officially the band is no more. Pete has stated the following:
"It's pretty much been a long time coming, and probably doesn't come to much of a surprise to many, the members of Infernal Method have officially parted ways as of this week. Due to ongoing straining of relations between us regarding musical direction, general management and so forth, we decided to call it a day before things inevitably got worse. Undoubtedly all members will continue to pursue their own musical agendas with stronger than hate, syphilis, samsaras wounds and shackles. Talks will go underway over the next few weeks as to whether or not there will be an official release of the LONG overdue album, depending on whether or not we can get ourselves out of the massive debt we've incurred through playing/recording with this band. Lastly, there are limited numbers of Infernal Method Promo CDs (featuring tracks off the recorded album) and t shirts left that will be sold CHEAP to anyone who is interested. all parties wishing to purchase any remaining Infernal Method merch should contact us at -firstname.lastname@example.org
cheers! Pete & Infernal Method!"
