eOne Music duo Dark Sermon and Black Crown Initiate have announced support dates with Cattle Decapitation in September.

The dates will serve in support of Dark Sermon's new LP "The Oracle" due out August 21. "We listen to Cattle in the van all the time," says Dark Sermon vocalist Johnny Crowder. Dark Sermon Posts New Track Online

Dark Sermon has debuted another all new single titled "In Each Hand, A Talisman of Sacred Stone.”

"We almost named the record after this song because of how demonstrative it is of the duality of our new material," says front man Johnny Crowder. "It incorporates a lot of the faster blackened influences you're used to hearing from us, but is equally balanced by a slower drone feel that you can expect to become more familiar with once the album is released."

The track comes off upcoming LP "The Oracle," featuring artwork by Shaun Beaudry of Mister Beaudry Illustration.

Crowder adds, "The album art portrays the Divine Feminine in her human form. She speaks with the stars and sacrifices herself in martyrdom, understanding that blood is the only channel the children of Earth are willing to comprehend."

Dark Sermon will release "The Oracle" on August 21st, 2015 via eOne Music / Good Fight Music. The track listing is as follows:

1. Ode To The Black Widow
2. In Each Hand, A Talisman of Sacred Stone
3. Children of Gaia
4. The Myth of Sanity
5. Rat King
6. Starve
7. The Eyeless Needle

Dark Sermon Asking Fans For Help

Dark Sermon has issued the following statement online about seeking fan assistance for tour transportation costs:

"We have been on tour for two months, and every penny we're making is going towards paying off the van we were forced to finance when our vehicle was stolen the week before we left.

"If you can, please make a donation or share this page with someone who would be able to help. We have raised over $1k, but we still have a long way to go. When we get home, we are going to be SLAMMED with bills, so we appreciate all of the assistance we've received thus far.

"If you don't agree with GoFundMe taking a cut, you can PayPal us directly at darksermon[at]yahoo.com. Thanks again to any and all of you who are willing to lend a hand."

Dark Sermon’s Touring Van Stolen

The touring van of Tampa, FL metal outfit Dark Sermon was stolen in Clearwater a mere week before the band's planned touring. States the band about the theft on their Facebook site:

"In the spirit of no good news going unpunished, we are troubled to inform you that we just found out that our van has been stolen. Thankfully, our equipment was not inside and we were not on tour at the time. The missing vehicle is a white 2000 Dodge Ram 3500. The license tag is 839 TEF. It was last seen at US19 and Sunset in Clearwater, FL. We leave for a 2.5 month tour a week from today, as some of you know, so this is a very dire situation.

"We have filed a police report, and we believe we have security camera footage of the man who took it. If you could please SHARE this post on your Facebook and spread awareness about this incident, we might be able to catch the thief and maybe even get our van back. Any and all posts and help are appreciated more than you know. Thank you to everyone in advance for your support." More...

Fit For An Autopsy Touring With Aborted

Jersey metal outfit Fit For An Autopsy has announced a new batch of co-headlining tour dates with Aborted. Archspire and label-mates Dark Sermon are set to open the bill.

Fit For An Autopsy is also putting the finishing touches on an all new, yet-to-be titled LP due out later this year. "The new album is a bit of a step in a new direction for the band," says guitarist Pat Sheridan. "It feels really intense."

The band will set up camp at The Machine Shop in New Jersey with guitar player and renowned producer Will Putney at the helm. The new effort will be the follow "Hellbound," released in 2013. The biggest change since then has been the band's vocalist: after the departure of Nate Johnson earlier last year, Greg Wilburn (Oblige) briefly filled in so the band could carry out touring plans. Just before the band entered The Machine Shop, Fit For An Autopsy brought in Joe Badolato (Diamond Cutter) as the brand new full-time vocalist.

"We found Joe at a perfect time," says guitarist Will Putney. "We had just come off months of touring with a vocalist we knew wasn't built to handle the lifestyle and stresses that come with being in a full-time band." Badolato's first show with the band was at The Brooklyn Asylum in Brooklyn, NY. More...
