Aeon Zen has released a new lyric video for "Downfall," which can be viewed below. The band's new album "Enigma" was released back in January via Nightmare Records, and the track listing is as follows:

English progressive-metallers Aeon Zen released third opus "Enigma" to the world this past January on Nightmare Records / Sony / RED. Today Aeon Zen is pleased to present the fifth and final video in the band's "Top 5 Riffs" series. This installment focuses on keyboard parts and can be viewed below.
Keyboardist Shaz described his video: "An added dimension resonating with soul is added to the Soundscape of Enigma in the form of its keyboards. Through strings and choirs alone, at times the listener is able to witness the glory of Heaven unfolding in the forefront of his mind, while at other times given a front seat to the dark, despairing depths of man's inner turmoil. Today Aeon Zen is pleased to present the fourth video in the band's "Top 5 Riffs" series. This installment focuses on the top 5 guitar riffs and can be found below.
Guitarist Matt Shepherd describes the clip: "Here are my choice riffs from our new album 'Enigma.' I chose these ones in particular because they have some greak hooks and stick in your head, and, most importantly, they're fun to play!"

Today Aeon Zen is pleased to present the third video in the band's "Top 5 Riffs" series. The third installment focuses on the "Top 5 Drum Riffs." Check out the video below. Drummer Steve Burton also comments:
"There are some fantastic drum parts that I love on this album. It was a very difficult choice putting this list together as I wish I could've just played the whole album for you!! I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoy performing it!"

Aeon Zen Posts New "Top 5 Riffs" Video
English progressive-metallers Aeon Zen released their third opus "Enigma" to the word one week ago today. Today Aeon Zen is pleased to present the second in a series of "Top 5 Riffs" series. The second video in the series features vocalist Andi Kravljaca and his "Top 5 Vocal Riffs," check it out below.
Andi commented on the video: "The vocals on any Aeon Zen record are always a cacophonous spectacle of layers, harmonies and characterizations done by some of the best voices in the business - and, of course, me. Nowhere is this more evident than in our latest offering - Enigma. Join me, if you will, in an exploration of the five places on Enigma where the vocals really make the album shine."

Aeon Zen is back with the band's latest opus entitled "Enigma," due for release on January 22nd, 2013 on Nightmare Records. The album is available for pre-order here.
Today Aeon Zen has released a video of the top 5 guitar riffs from "Enigma." The video has been premiered through GuitarWorld.com and can be seen right here or in the player below.
Front man Rich Hinks describes the video: "What better way to show everyone some pieces of our new album than for me to perform them for you? There are so many riffs on this album that I personally consider my favourite, so it was really difficult to just choose 5 (well... 10 if you put the instruments together!). These should give you a flavour of Aeon Zen and Enigma and hopefully inspire you listen to the whole album to hear these riffs in context." More...
Aeon Zen Premiers New Track "Downfall"
English progressive-metallers Aeon Zen are streaming the new track "Downfall" over at Noisecreep at this location. The song appears on the band's third release "Enigma," which will see a North American release on January 22, 2013.
Vocalist/guitarist/bassist Rich Hinks commented: "This track epitomises many aspects of Aeon Zen's sound, crossing heavy; progressive; melodic; and technical boundaries. As the concluding part of our new concept album, Enigma, this track twists and turns, keeping itself fresh and ingraining itself in the listener's head... And really ends the album with a bang!"

Aeon Zen Releases "Divinity" Video
English metallers Aeon Zen are back with their latest opus entitled "Enigma," which is a concept album featuring nine continuous tracks showing the strengths of the band, as well as two bonus tracks. "Enigma" will be released January 22nd, 2013 on Nightmare Records. The album is available for pre-order through the Nightmare Records website.
Today Aeon Zen is excited to share a new video with the masses. Check out the video for "Divinity" in the player below. Aeon Zen's founder Rich Hinks says of the new video:
"Divinity shows a whole new side to Aeon Zen. There's still all the elements that make it an Aeon Zen song, but there's a ton more energy and heaviness, and even more technicality than we've ever put on a record before. Aeon Zen Signs With Nightmare Records
English progressive-metallers Aeon Zen have signed on with Nightmare Records. The band's third release "Enigma" will see a North American release date of January 22, 2013. "Enigma" is described as "an ambitiously creative and powerful concept album featuring nine continuous tracks showing the strengths of the band." The album will also contain two bonus tracks.
Aeon Zen features Ex-Vindictiv/Ex-Seventh Wonder vocalist Andi Kravljaca (Silent Call) and current Timefall guitarist Matt Shepherd.
Founder and guitarist/bassist/vocalist Rich Hinks commented on the signing: "Nightmare Records is without a doubt one of the strongest labels for progressive music and we're delighted to be working with them. Aeon Zen released our last two albums independently and this is a great step for us."

Aeon Zen Pushes Back Album Release
Aeon Zen had previously announced new album "Enigma" would be coming on September 10th, 2012, but the band has now issued the following update about pushing back the release due to a new record deal:
"Over the last several weeks we have been working on a deal that will see our new album 'Enigma' released through a different record label. There will be a proper press release about this soon, we just didn't want to leave you hanging!
"This is a great step for us and we're delighted that the album will be released this way. It does however mean that there will be a change of the release date, and we are now looking at an early 2013 release. The exact date is still to be confirmed.
"For those of you that have already pre-ordered the CD version of the album, we can ship these out to you for the new release date. For those that have pre-ordered the bundle version of the album we will throw in a free poster signed by all of the first Aeon Zen line-up and will ship out everything except the CD now and you will receive the CD when it is released.
