Band Lineup Announced For Darkness Rising Fest

This year's edition of the Serbian "Darkness Rising" festival will take place in Belgrade from May 30th - June 1st, 2013. The festival features 27 black metal bands from a variety of countries, with full details available at the festival's website here. The currently announced lineup is as follows:

Prognan Streaming New EP Online

Croatian black metal act Prognan has uploaded the entire new "Jama" EP online for streaming. You can listen to the tracks below or at the band's SoundCloud page. Prognan commented:

"We've decided to share our EP with our fans, there's no better way to thank them for supporting us for almost five years. This new EP is the last release before a new album that we are working on currently. Each song shows a segment of our history, the only way we could convey a full message to the listener and express ourselves the best way possible is by doing the entire lyrics in our language."

Prognan Streaming New Single

Croatian black metal battalion Prognan has released a first single from the band's upcoming new EP "Jama." Check out the track below. The band also commented on the song:

"The title track is an arrangement of famous Croatian poet I.G. Kovacic. Originally, the song was written during World War II when he joined Partisans. He died in 1943. The song was banned for several years during communism."
