Virginia metal band Saint Diablo has premiered a new music video for the title track off upcoming sophomore album “Devil Horns and Halos.” The video was directed by Scott Hansen at Digital Thunderdome Studios and is available below.
Guitarist Justin Adams states, “Ironically, 'Devil Horns and Halos' was the last song we wrote for the album, we actually finished it in the studio as life threw us some pretty significant detours… I got divorced, Tito’s mother passed away, and shortly thereafter I was diagnosed with cancer.”
Vocalist Tito Quinones elaborates, “The song is about balance in the face of opposites. Things like love/hate, hope/despair, angels/demons, etc… We were facing some difficult decisions at that time, and I think our state of mind is reflected in this song.”
The song is taken from sophomore album, “Devil Horns and Halos,” which is set to be released on November 13 via Eclipse Records, and was produced by Tim “Rumblefish” Gilles (Anthrax, The Misfits, ill Nino) at Big Blue Meenie studios in Jersey City, NJ.
Saint Diablo has also been confirmed on this year’s edition of South for the Win-Tour. The band will be supporting Seasons After and Everybody Panic starting November 21 through December 13. More...

Tim’s approach to capturing our sound was so inspirational, and then life threw us some pretty significant detours… I got divorced, and shortly thereafter I was diagnosed with cancer.”
Vocalist Tito Quinones elaborates, “He was faced with some difficult decisions, and the lyrics for ‘Survive This’ were written about him. I was impressed with how he balanced the pain, faced his mortality, and was still able to write and perform some of the most powerful music that’s ever come out of him.” More...

Spawned from Central Virginia, hardcore/metal act Saint Diablo is set to release a new album, entitled "Saint Diablo," on July 10th, 2012. The new record is the third full-length from the band and is being released through Eclipse Records (Mushroomhead, Scum of the Earth).
“This new CD, Saint Diablo, is a combined effort of so many wonderful people. We have such an awesome group of investors, supporters, handlers, and producers behind the curtain that I see this CD as just the BEGINING of the future,” states vocalist Tito Quinones. “For example, we have always done bilingual music and blended multi-cultural aspects of rock, metal, and groove; but this time we are also doing entirely Spanish versions of some if our most favorite tunes. We did this to expand our musical horizons, make new fans in countries and cultures that would otherwise have language barriers, and to have fun.”
The band is set to head out on a tour of several U.S. states with Slaves of Dope, running from July 24th in Rochester, NY to August 14th in Poughkeepsie, NY. Before and after the tour, the band has booked several additional east coast tour dates, including stops in Baltimore, MD, Raleigh, NC, Richmond, VA and more. See below for all current tour dates.
“Tour, I love being on tour! That's our life blood,” adds guitarist Justin Adams. “Being on stage and performing for our fans is the grass roots of what we do. The energy, the smell, the taste of being in a packed room with a bunch of metal crazed fans, who wouldn't want to be a part of that?! The interaction of the fans and meeting new people and hearing their stories all over the country… that's what I look forward to on tour. It's about the brotherhood of living in a van with your band mates and the experiences, things you have to overcome.” More...
