Shinto Katana Calls It Quits

Australian outfit Shinto Katana has issued the following statement about performing the band's last show ever:

"Thank you to everybody who came out last night. Thank you to anybody who ever had anything to do with this band.

"You will never understand how much every gesture meant to us, whether it be simply coming to a show, buying a shirt, downloading a song or letting us crash on your floor, we will never forget it..

Shinto Katana Announces New Album Release

Sydney Australia's Shinto Katana has issued the following announcement about releasing a new album later this summer:

"We are very pleased to announce July 27th 2012 as the official release date for our new full-length album 'Redemption' on Skull And Bones Records / Shock Entertainment. Pre-orders and tour announcement coming very soon!

"We would also like to officially welcome Jamie Scerri, also of Pledge This! on 2nd guitar. You can get the album's first single 'Solitary' featuring Frankie Palmeri of Emmure on iTUNES here."
