Just days before the album is released worldwide via Magic Bullet Records, the new split 12" from Integrity and Power Trip has now come online for full streaming. Listen in below, and you can also find a full list of upcoming tour dates for both bands after the jump.
In one week, the split LP between Integrity and Power Trip will see release via Magic Bullet Records, and the label this week is letting the lead tracks from each band's half of the platter out of the cages.
Integrity's contribution is a retooled, remixed rendering of the 2010 Magic Bullet Records 7" "VVe Are the End." The Power Trip material culls two original tracks from a self-titled 7" on Lockin' Out Records, originally released in 2011.
Previously unheard prior, Integrity also contributes "Her Eyes Is Filled With ?tars," a unique cover of the bizarre song that Howdy (Crispin Glover) serenades Stephanie (Jenny Wright) with in the 1989 film "Twister." The cover song is exclusive to this split across all formats. More...
Magic Bullet Records presents a split release between Integrity and Power Trip, due out June 17th, 2016.
The release is semi-dual-reissue in nature, as Integrity's contribution is a retooled, remixed rendering of the 2010 Magic Bullet Records 7" "VVe Are the End." The Power Trip material culls the two original tracks from a self-titled 7" on Lockin' Out Records, originally released in 2011.
Previously unheard or released prior, Integrity also contributes "Her Eyes is Filled with ?tars," a unique cover of the bizarre song that Howdy (Crispin Glover) serenades Stephanie (Jenny Wright) with in the 1989 film Twister. The cover song is exclusive to this split across all formats.
Brand new artwork and layouts by Integrity's Dwid Hellion draws further cohesion between the bands on this one, as both physical formats feature a "co-headliner" visual presentation and a foldout poster containing all lyrics, credits, and additional original artwork. For vinyl fans, the first pressing is being issued on three color ways: black, clear, and red. Both sides are spun at 45rpm for maximum fidelity. The record will also see CD and full digital release.

Richmond, Virginia’s Lamb of God is one of the hardest working, best bands in metal. When I first caught the group open for Gwar on the “New American Gospel” sixteen years ago, I knew this band was destined for greatness. They were like a combination of Meshuggah and Pantera. I saw them as the next Pantera. Today, they really are continuing the tradition set down by Pantera and their rough grooves. Randy Blythe has a monstrous voice that, after tonight’s show, doesn’t seem to be losing any power.
In 2009, Lamb of God once again toured with Gwar. Even though this was a co-headliner tour, Gwar played before Lamb of God. Also this is not their first rodeo with Anthrax. Anthrax brought LOG on the road with them in 2001 . The wheel went full circle with the current tour with Anthrax. LOG toured with Anthrax early in their career as a support act. Now Anthrax supports them.
LOG has always brought a great package with them. I caught them in ‘2004 when they toured with Children of Bodom and headliner, Fear Factory. The best package, though, was opening for Cannibal Corpse, Dimmu Borgir and The Haunted. Of course, tonight’s package was nothing to complain about, other than Deafheaven. This was one of the most thrashing tours LOG has partaken in. Warming up the band were Big 4 thrashers, Anthrax (should have headlined) with a great, young thrash band, Dallas thrashers Power Trip. Since the 2013 release of debut LP "Manifest Decimation" on Southern Lord Recordings, the Texas maniacs from Power Trip have toured incessantly.
The ongoing attack will continue into 2015, as the band just announced a new rash of U.S. tour dates in February and March.
First up, closing a crushing 2014 tour schedule down, Power Trip will bring mayhem to the Fern Park, Florida-based FYA Fest on December 27th and 28th. From February 23rd through 25th, the band will raid three Texan towns alongside S.H.I.T. Then on March 3rd, Power Trip gets underway with a three-week run through the Midwest and West Coast states, set to conclude at South By So What?! 2015 Festival in Grand Prairie, Texas, on select dates joining Build And Destroy, Title Fight, and Merchandise.
But as always with these road animals, more dates will undoubtedly be announced in the coming weeks. More...
Twenty years ago, I remarked that if you went to a concert and didn't have bruises the next day, you didn't have a good time. I don't experience shows the same way now, but my former words live on in the crowd at the Mohawk in Austin, Texas. From massive circle pits to stage and even PA diving, many on the floor surely awoke on Saturday with lumpy, bluish marks on their bodies. Whether it's grindcore, power violence, crossover, hardcore or just plain ole' punk rock, Austin has an affinity for punk-related bands. So when Transmission Events and Red Bull brought in Municipal Waste and Power Trip for a mesely $3 (with RSVP, without the show was $10), you could expect nothing less than a packed house of rowdy punks a metal heads. Having been on the road relentlessly all year, Texas crossover outfit Power Trip continues to announce new live actions, with another round of tour dates now confirmed for the months ahead.
Power Trip's latest wave of shows will begin mid-May, as the band is now confirmed to take part in the annual Scion Rock Fest in Pomona, California on May 17th. The following day the band will find itself on the opposite end of the country to rip it up at the 2014 installment of the Black N' Blue Bowl in Brooklyn, New York.
June and July will see Power Trip invading Calgary, Alberta's five-day Sled Island Music Festival as well as This Is Hardcore Fest in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Additional appearances all the way into September have also been confirmed, and more shows will continually be added to the band's upcoming itinerary. More...

Steve Goldbloom, a reporter for PBS, is shown being throttled in the pit during a live broadcast at Pitchfork's Show No Mercy showcase at SXSW held at Mohawk. When the news caster goes live for a report, this reporter can't quite find his balance to give the scoop. He makes the mistake of trying to do something other than smash into other metal heads during this performance by a thrashing mad, Power Trip band. Watch the video embedded below. More...
