Richmond, VA doom band Windhand just announced a new run of headlining European tour dates this coming fall with fellow Virginia-based group Satan’s Satyrs.
The tour commences September 21st in Copenhagen, DK and runs till October 13th in Bristol, UK. The two bands will also do a short North American run preceding the European trek. A full listing of Windhand tour dates is available below.

Richmond stoner act Windhand issued a new music video for the track "Two Urns." The song appears on the band's latest release "Grief's Infernal Flower," which is available via Relapse Records.
The clip was directed by John Nunn and Mikael Simpson with cinematography by Chris Newhard. Check it out here:

Richmond, VA psychedelic doom group Windhand has entered the studio with producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, High on Fire).
The band is recording a third full-length album at Soundhouse Recording in Seattle, WA. The currently-untitled album will see a Fall release via Relapse Records, with a few song titles to include "Two Urns," "Hyperion," and "Kingfisher."
Additionally, the group has confirmed two Atlanta live shows with Sleep this May. Details are as follows:

On October 31st, RidingEasy Records will unleash a special split 10” vinyl featuring new music from both Windhand and Salem’s Pot. The pre-sale goes live here on September 27th, and the pressing is limited to 1,000.
On Side A, Windhand (Relapse Records) delivers the billowing "Forest Clouds," A ten-minute journey through a haze of distortion and vocal wails, emblematic of the band’s technical prowess and thunderous energy. The previously announced Scion A/V presented High On Fire tour, which sees the California power trio joined by Norwegian crew Kvelertak, has added an additional twelve dates to the incendiary extravaganza with newly announced stops in Boston, Toronto, Chicago and San Francisco, amongst others.
As part of the tour, High On Fire will release a new single titled "Slave The Hive" on October 16th, marking the first new music from the California metal champions since the spring 2012 release of "De Vermis Mysteriis." A limited edition 7-inch will be available at all tour dates with a video for the song to be released simultaneously.

In 2012, backwoods psychedelic doom band Windhand released a self-titled LP. The band is now putting the finishing touches on a second LP for Relapse, due out this fall, which was recorded and mixed by the band's own Garrett Morris at The Darkroom and mastered by James Plotkin in Richmond, VA.
