Casket of Cassandra has checked in with the following update about returning to the live stage after experiencing a car crash back in July:
"On July 23rd 2012 we were up in Washington finishing up our tour a car tried to get into our lane and through us off the road causing us to flip multiple times. Chris, our drummer, barely made it out alive and had brain surgery 2 hours after the accident.
"He recovered in a very short amount of time and all the support from all of you is why we think the recovery was so speedy. We have begun to get him back on drums and we are officially announcing our first show back as a full band. February 9th 2013 at Red House Studios in Walnut Creek, CA. As of now the bands playing with us will be Dennis is Dead, As Artifacts, and A Holy Ghost Revival.
"This show is for all of you who truly believed in Chris's recovery. We are looking to move forward just as strong as before and within the month of December you will continue to hear some upcoming things from us that we are extremely excited to reveal.
"This Thanksgiving we are thankful for our lives and our fans who have stood by us in the worst of times. We are thankful for all the bands who have helped us with pushing through as well as putting together benefit shows for us. We wouldn't be where we are now without everyone. So we hope to see as many of you as possible at our show FEBRUARY 9TH AT RED HOUSE STUDIOS!"

"He is still in Seattle's rehabilitation center. They confirmed that he will be coming home on the 15th of this month where he will continue rehab 3 times a week. He will be extremely weak for a while but he will fully recover within 6 months to a year.
"Thank you all so much for all your best wishes! Keep him in your thoughts! As you can tell he already is picking up the drum sticks and wanting to play again!" More...
