Manners Calls It Quits

Connecticut based outfit Manners has issued the following announcement online about deciding to call it a day:

"Sooner or later all good things must come to an end. After 5 years of doing this, we’ve decided to stop doing Manners. When we started, most of us were still in our teens, we had never toured, some of us had never played shows, and we never thought it was going to go as far as it did.

"A lot has changed since then, but we always said we would stop doing it the second our hearts weren’t in it and we stopped having fun, and we stayed true to that promise.

"It was never about anything more than just having fun and making friends, and we’re so lucky we were able to meet so many amazing people and see so many amazing places. Thanks for the last 5 years everyone, truly. Final show info to follow." More...

Formed in 2010 in the dense woods of Connecticut, Manners self released two EPs and has been spreading its sound throughout New England for the past couple of years.

In 2011, the band found itself performing on the Break Thru Stage in Mansfield, MA at The Warped Tour and has been announced to play April 21st at this year's New England Metal & Hardcore festival in Worcester, MA along with Bane, Cruel Hand, The Greenery and many more.

Vocalist Chris Hague commented, "We couldn't be more excited to work with MorseCode on this project. It's the perfect label to put out this record and it will be amazing to see this release grow and expand through our partnership with them."

Label partner Rachel Rosen adds, "When we first heard of Manners we were impressed on how organic their songs were and the raw energy that came through. It's awesome to see the next generation of hardcore kids put their own twist on the music." More...
