Austrian slamming goregrind trio VxPxOxAxAxWxAxMxC (Vaginal Penetration Of An Amelus With A Musty Carrot) is teaming with the nihilistic Dutch one-man goregrind terrorist of Anal Penetration and Kaotoxin records French label-mates Infected Society for the Raw Nerve Webzine sponsored roadkill extravaganza titled the "Snuff Fetish Infection Tour" coming to the UK, France and Belgium from January 23rd through the 28th. They are also coming together for the release of an alike-titled limited edition split-tape/digital EP made of previously unreleased material mastered by Dan O'Hare of Total Fucking Destruction at Mark-It-Zero studio, the tour dates which follow below:

Unearthing Underground Bands With Bizarre Vocals
From the completely mainstream outfits with a horde of fans to basement one-man acts, heavy metal is composed of a vast multitude of bands – and the number of metal groups continues to constantly grow. Every week we unearth three bands to help expand your metallic horizons and introduce you to styles and sounds you might not have heard otherwise.
Last week we covered groups that blend together a variety of genre styles and break trends within metal, including Germ and Vintage Flesh, two bands that utilize very odd vocal styles. While it can be argued that any extreme metal band uses vocals that most would consider bizarre, there are vocalists within the world of heavy music who go much further and produce sounds that even hardened underground metal lovers may find shocking.
From avant-garde groups like Peccatum with purposefully off-key singing, to the gut-busting and throat-shredding growls of black metal bands like Marduk, there are plenty of new vocal varieties to discover while journeying through the many sub-genres of metal. This week we’ll take a look at three lesser known bands that use vocals you are almost guaranteed to never hear anywhere else.
Abruptum
Taking the concept of evil atmosphere to an entirely new level, Abruptum was a group primarily active in the ‘90s that puts most black metal acts to shame and released its early material through the infamous Deathlike Silence Productions. Rather than evil guitar sounds and high pitched screams, Abruptum uses bizarrely distorted vocals and shrieks of agonized pain – and rumors persist that the screams are authentic due to self-inflicted wounds in the studio.
Listening to Abruptum albums all the way the through really requires a specific mood, as song structures and melody are pretty much thrown out the window in favor of highly chaotic musical expressions. If you’ve got the candles lit and the razors handy, dip into the madness of Abruptum through the clips below.

VPOAAWAMC Premieres New Song Online
We announced earlier this week that Vaginal Penetration Of An Amelus With A Musty Carrot (aka VxPxOxAxAxWxAxMxCx) has signed on for a multi-album deal with Kaotoxin Records, with the first release "In Involuntary Abortion we Trust" coming this April. You can now get a first taste of the album by checking out the song "Mass Suicide with a Rusty Comb" in the player provided below. Kaotoxin Records issued the following press release about the band:
"Bored of all the melodic and trend oriented bands in their neighbourhoods, the urine soaked landscapes of upper Austria, four blastjunkies decided in Autumn 2008 to end this misery and finally form the first 'upper Austrian extreme-metal' band. The band got the clear and brief name VAGINAL PENETRATION OF AN AMELUS WITH A MUSTY CARROT.
"Since then the band worked hard and eagerly on the first songs and finally got onto stage in summer 09. After line-up changes, including the reduction of drummer Max Gufler in exchange for the band’s very tight and sexy drum machine VxPxOxAxAxWxAxMxC currently is a trio.
"By now they played shows in many countries such as Andorra, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Liechtenstein, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Vatican, etc. Their music style can best be described as a mixture of goregrind and slamdeath, which means dancing parts ala Cock And Ball Torture alter with groovy and brutal waves of slam-attacks.

Vaginal Penetration Of An Amelus With A Musty Carrot (aka VxPxOxAxAxWxAxMxCx) has signed a multi-album deal with Kaotoxin records.
"Goregrind is all about being extreme: more gore, everywhere... Disgusting as fuck artworks, ultra gory pitched down piggy squeals, blasts everywhere, etc. BUT, of the all the Goregrind acts around, during their already four years of existence, VxPxOxAxAxWxAxMxC (which stands for 'Vaginal Penetration Of An Amelus With A Musty Carrot') managed to get known, not only for the quality of their live presentations, but by the extreme way they are extensively playing Europe from North to South and from West to East, having played quite all countries around, may it be for tours, gigs, of festivals and naming just but a few of the countries they had a snuff fetish audience conquered by their corpse-smelling gore-o-rama would take five paragraphs at least (they're just back from Israel, right now).
"Of course, having the blasts, the gore, the extreme touring and the ultra gore artwork is far not enough to be a good band, worth being checked and praised.
