Swedish thrashers CARNAL FORGE have issued the following update:
"The pre-production of the new album has been a long, long process but in the end it has been really worth it. We have gone through all the arrangements and vocal parts in a way that we never have done with CARNAL FORGE before. The result is just utterly brilliant. We have also tried some stuff that we never did in CARNAL FORGE. We have a couple really heavy songs. One is so slow it almost falls apart... haha...
"Some wonder why it takes so goddamn long time this time around, but the thing is that we live in three different cities, so we have met for pre-production work once, maybe twice a month to work together. On all other albums with CARNAL FORGE, the vocals were made in the studio. But I promise you it's worth the wait... Soon we'll start the real recording..." More...
Carnal Forge bassist, Lars Lindén, has posted this message on the CF's official website:
We have started to record some vocals to some of the new tracks. Our rehearsal place is slowley forming into a studio... that is nice. So making demos is a lot easier now. Tomorrow [singer] Jens and I are going up to Sala to work on some more stuff with the other guys.
Swedish thrash metal outfit Carnal Forge have confirmed a couple of shows for May and July 2005. The band is currently writing new material for their upcoming album.

In other news, the band has posted the following message on their official website regarding the title for Children of Bodom's next album:
Children of bodom has ckosen to use almost the same title for their up coming album as our latest album... don't they have google in Finland?
According to a posting on their official website, Sweden's Carnal Forge are working on material for their next album. The posting reads: "We are working on new material and we have plenty of new songs now... and it will be more... It's only 5 that we have worked on with vocals, but then there is at least 10 more or so... kinda lost track..."
Jonas Kjellgren has left Carnal Forge after 7 years and 5 albums. No explaination has been given. Jens C. Mortensen (Leech, ex-Revolver, ex-Slapdash) has replaced Kjellgren.
Swedish thrashers CARNAL FORGE have set "Aren't You Dead Yet" as the title of their new album, tentatively due in June through Century Media (Europe and USA) and Soundholic (Japan). 12 songs were recorded and mixed at Studio Underground for the follow-up to last year's "The More You Suffer", with the new material being described by guitarist Jari Kuusisto as "[picking] up from where the last album stopped. The new songs are a little bit more aggressive, but all of you that liked our previous albums won't get disappointed."

Swedish thrashers Carnal Forge will record their first live DVD at the end of January. In addition to live performance footage, the DVD will contain lots of bonus material.
Carnal Forge will enter Studio Underground on February 5 to begin recording their fifth full-length release, tentatively due next summer through Century Media Records. 12-13 songs will be recorded for the follow-up to this year's "The More You Suffer", and will feature a musical direction described by guitarist Jari Kuusisto as "[picking] up from where the last album stopped.
