Explosive Rage Disorder

From: Victoria, Canada
Last Known Status: Unknown

Explosive Rage Disorder is a five piece metal band from Victoria, B.C., Canada, who play uncompromisingly heavy, in-yer face, pit-riff laden intensity, without sacrificing or compromising catchiness, groove, melody or huge, epic, uplifting choruses and who definitely excel in a live situation.

With three EP's under their belt since '98, it's easy to track their consistent progress. Their first EP, although never titled or officially released, boasted five extremely well-written songs, so highly regarded in fact, that they remain as an integral part of their setlist to this day. Their '99 release, simply entitled "Explosive Rage Disorder," was recorded and mixed in three days by Scott Henderson (Dayglo Abortions, NoMeansNo etc.) capturing the raw, unstoppable, high energy feel of their live performances. Their third and current recording shows Explosive Rage Disorder taking a more mature, diverse approach to their songwriting. While still maintaining the live, energetic feel of their previous offering, the current EP has a smoother, well rounded sound to it.

With tight friendships, a strong focus on common goals, highly energetic live shows, and first and foremost, a solid set of original material to back it all up, will stop at ABSOLUTELY NOTHING until they are recognized as a major contender in the world of heavy music.
