When Iron Reagan and Strangeways Brewing got to collaborating, two core ideas were immediately at war: wanting to brew a favorite style, the Belgian Tripel, while at the same time desiring to make a dark-as-night ale to pay homage to metal music.
Peace was partially restored when they realized they could brew a Belgian Black Tripel. Jelly beans were added to enhance the insanity while at the same time keeping with the essence of the band’s name.
Finally, months of aging in oak barrels bring it all back to earth. The result is the "Just Say Go" Belgian Black Tripel (8.4% ABV~17 IBU). You know why you should drink it? Iron Regan's Tony Foresta sums it up best: "IT HAS FUCKING JELLYBEANS IN IT!"

Tony Foresta, lead singer of Municipal Waste and Iron Reagan, has released a brand of signature hot sauce called "Liquid Arson."
A collaboration with the Tears Of Joy hot sauce brand, Tony's sauce is a mosh pit in your mouth with a 9 out of 10 heat rating and is available for purchase at this location. Tony comments:
"This is a collaberation with me and Brian from The mighty 'Tears Of Joy' hot sauce in Austin Texas. I've been wanting to work with him for years as I've always been a big fan of his store and the sauces he makes, The Sword's 'Tears of Fire,' His Tequila Lime Sauce, Red Fang's 'Night Destroyer' to name a few. Liquid Arson is an Italian flavored sauce that packs a punch but still has a lot of flavor. Good with almost anything to me personally I think it goes best with meatball subs, pizza or chicken parm. It's kind of like a nuclear marinara sauce." More...

Be sure to also check out our recent interview with the band at the Fun Fun Fest over here.
Past Fun Fun Fun Festivals that I covered featured one or two metal headliners on the black stage and one day dominated by punk. This year the third day of the festival included punk but rock in general was the main flavor of the day. Metal was not the style closing out the Black Stage, but headliner Murder City Devils played hard and heavy. There is something about this band that just fits with the festival, as the Seattle-based band made it’s third appearance. The garage rock group played powerful hooks and electric organ that sounded like The Doors making a soundtrack for a Hammer Horror film. I believe this was their first headline performance at FFF. The band was definitely up to it.
