Swedish black metallers Dark Funeral have been confirmed to headline the Nordic Rage Metal Festival 2004 on November 6 at Folkets Hus in Boden, Sweden. Other groups scheduled to perform at the festival include Persuader, Laudamus, Deadlock, Slowgate, War Empire and C. C. More information is available at this location.

God Among Insects, the Swedish "old-school" death metal band featuring vocalist Emperor Magus Caligula (Dark Funeral), guitarist Lord K (a.k.a. Kenth Philipson) (The Project Hate), bassist Tomas Elofsson (Sanctification) and drummer Tobias Gustafsson (Vomitory), will be supported by Norway's MYRKSKOG at their record-release party on Saturday, September 4 at : Kelly's in Örebro, Sweden. MYRKSKOG's appearance in Örebro will mark their first-ever show on Swedish soil. The details are as follows:

God Among Insects' debut album, "World Wide Death", is scheduled for release on September 6 in Europe through Plastic Head Distribution, and September 7 in the USA, Canada and Mexico through Candlelight Records USA. An MP3 of the album cut "A Gush of Blood" can be downloaded at this location.
The Swedish company Festivalbussen.com will arrange busses to the Metalcamp festival in Slovenia. Some Swedish metal bands will be playing at the festival: Hypocrisy, Dark Funeral, Katatonia and Vintersorg. There will also be other bands like Danzig, Apocalyptica, Sentenced, Primal Fear, Destruction, Dew Scented, Fleshcrawl, Finntroll and more.
The location is situated in the Julijske Alp National park, in the city Tolmin, close to the beautiful surroundings of the Soèa river. The possibility to chill out on a sand beach or to swim in one of the purest rivers in Europe is unique in the European Festival history.
There will be 2 outdoor stages, camping ground inside the festival area, low-priced beer (1,5€), cheap food (hamburger about 2€), and of course some of the best metal bands on earth! So just everything what a Metalhead needs for the party of the year!

NINNUAM will release their debut album, Process Of Life Separation, on July 27th via Crash Music. The 10 track release was recorded at Sensus Studios in Katrineholm, Finland and mastered at Finnvox Studios. The album’s cover art was designed by John Hammarman.
In other news, Ninnuam will perform at Club666, in Tantogården, Stockholm (Sweden) on November 12th. Other acts on the bill include: VICIOUS ART (with members of DARK FUNERAL and ENTOMBED) and headliners MORK GRYNING.

"The live album entitled De Profundis Clamavi Ad Te Domine (April 19th via Regain) is receiving great response from the media worldwide. The fierce and aggressive scene presence together with the intense response from the South American fans makes this album without a doubt the grimmest black metal live album ever. So be sure not to miss this one.
Other great news are that Dark Funeral will land one song, ‘Thus I Have Spoken’ (Diabolis Interium/2001) in the sequel of the up-coming Zombie trilogy, Die Zombiejager.
Die Zombiejager is a low-budget splatter/gore movie made by Jonas Wolcher and his great team at Too86 Entertainment (Sweden). Die Zombiejäger is the sequel of the Zombie trilogy, Zombienoid. A full-length movie in German (with a few lines in Swedish, English & Italian) with English subtitles. The movie is set for a release in September 2004.”

Norwegian Black metallers DIMMU BORGIR have reportedly cancelled all of their Australian/Japanese dates that were scheduled to take place in early February. Although no official reason was given for the cancellation, it is believed that problems with the Japanese portion of the trek led to the decision to call off both tours. This is the second time Dimmu Borgir have cancelled an Australian tour, having previously axed what would have been their first-ever trip Down Under back in 1999. DARK FUNERAL will cover up for them, co- headlining with ZYKLON.

The Swedish black metal gods DARK FUNERAL will release their first live album ( recorded in South America 2003), entitled 'De Profundis Clamavi De Te Domine' through the Swedish label Regain Records later on this year. The band has also confirmed the dates for their Mexican tour in February.

Swedish black metallers Dark Funeral have signed with Regain Records following their split with MNW/No Fashion Records earlier in the year. The group's first release for Regain will be their as-yet-untitled live album recorded on their recent South American tour, due on March 29.
