Nile Announces New Album Chart Positions
Last Tuesday, November 3rd saw the North American release date of "Those Whom The Gods Detest," the latest album from Egyptian themed technical death metallers Nile. The band has announced that "Those Whom The Gods Detest" landed the following Billboard chart entries:
#160 on the Top 200
#27 on Top Hard Music Albums
The new tracks "Permitting The Noble Dead To Descend To The Underworld" and "Utterances of The Crawling Dead" can be heard at Nile's MySpace page.

Nile Posts New Album Trailer Online
Technical death metal group Nile has posted a new video trailer for their forthcoming new studio album, "For Whom The Gods Detest" online. You can check it out below. The album will be released tomorrow (November 3rd) in North America and hit European store shelves today. The cover artwork for the record was done by Michal "Xaay" Loranc, who previously did the art for Nile frontman Karl Sanders second solo album, "Saurian Exorcisms."
Nile Announces New Album Listening Party
Nile have announced a listening party and signing session for their new album "Those Whom the Gods Detest" to be held on Friday November 6, 2009 at 7pm at Earshot Records in Greenville South Carolina. Fans can hear "Those Whom the Gods Detest" in its entirety and have the band sign their copy of the album. The event is open to the public and can be attended by showing up at the following address :

Nile Streaming New Song Online
Egyptian themed death metallers Nile have debuted the track “Utterances of the Crawling Dead” through Noisecreep.com. The song comes from their latest album "Those Whom The Gods Detest," which is scheduled for North American release on November 3rd, 2009 and Europe on November 6, 2009.
The album was produced and mixed by Neil Kernon (Nevermore, Cannibal Corpse, Queensrÿche) and included drum recording by Erik Rutan (Cannibal Corpse, Vital Remains, Goatwhore). Cover artwork was created by Michal "Xaay" Loranc, the man responsible for the art on Karl Sander’s 2nd solo album, Saurian Exorcisms.
Karl Sanders Offering Guitar Lessons On Tour
Nile front man Karl Sanders will be offering guitar lessons to fans during the band's upcoming U.S. tour in January and February 2010. Sessions are intended for intermediate to advanced students.
Lessons will be at the show venues in the cities along the routed dates of the Nile tour, and are on a first come first served basis. The the cost of lessons are $100 per hour. Students will be invited to stay to watch Nile's sound-check after the lesson, and all students will be put on the guest list for the show. Nile Reveals New Album Details
Nile has revealed the track listing and cover artwork for the upcoming release "Those Whom the Gods Detest."
The album was produced and mixed by Neil Kernon (NEVERMORE, CANNIBAL CORPSE, QUEENSRYCHE), along with a drum recording job by Erik Rutan (CANNIBAL CORPSE, VITAL REMAINS, GOATWHORE). The cover artwork was brought to realization this time around by Michal "Xaay" Loranc, whom Karl Sander’s had previously worked with on his 2nd solo record "Saurian Exorcisms."
"Those Whom the Gods Detest" is scheduled for release in North America on November 3, 2009. The track listing will be as follows:
