Tronos, the new project lead by Shame Embury (Napalm Death, Brujeria, etc.) and producer Russ Russell (At The Gates, Napalm Death), premiere another new song titled “Premonition“ taken from the band's upcoming debut album, “Celestial Mechanics“, which will land in stores April 12th through Century Media. Mastodon Posts New Music Video Online
Atlanta, Georgia based heavy metal favourites Mastodon has posted a new music video online for the song, "Clandestiny." You can check it out below. The song comes from the group's latest studio album, "Emperor of Sand," which was released last Summer through Reprise Records and is the third single following, "Show Yourself" and "Steambreather." Legend Of The Seagullmen Premiere “The Fogger”

Legend Of The Seagullmen, featuring Tool‘s Danny Carey and Mastodon‘s Brent Hinds among their members, debut a new song entitled “The Fogger“. It’s from their self-titled new album that is out February 09th on Dine Alone. Explains the band’s Jimmy Hayward, the song is about the character Carey adopts for the band (see the below image,) ‘The Fogger‘:
“‘The Fogger‘ is a mystical aquatic tale about The Seagullmen‘s very own drummer, Danny Carey. He stalks the ocean in search of users, abusers and polluters and deals lethal justice with his third eye while ripping the faces from skulls, just like he does during the punishing and beautifully complex drum solo in the middle of the song. The solo explodes into a furious conclusion, leaving no doubt about the karmic justice and pure ferocious power of ‘The Fogger’!”

Mastodon Premieres New Song "Toe To Toes"
Mastodon premieres a new song entitled "Toe To Toes", taken from the upcoming new EP "Cold Dark Place", which will be out in stores September 22nd. Describes Mastodon vocalist/guitarist Brent Hinds the effort: "One is an album I wrote myself, and recorded with Brann and Troy during the ‘Once More ‘Round The Sun‘ sessions. My part is called ‘Cold Dark Place‘, and it has to do with a nasty breakup that I went through. I wrote some pretty dark, beautiful, spooky, funky, ethereal, melancholy music, which also sounds like the Bee Gees a little bit."

Psycho Las Vegas Unveils Full Daily Lineup
In less than three months, the 2017 edition of Psycho Las Vegas will make its descent upon the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Set to commence on August 18th and run through August 20th, 2017 with a pre-party to be held on August 17th, the event flaunts a lineup that includes headlining sets from Atlanta goliaths Mastodon, psychedelic rock legends The Brian Jonestown Massacre, and heavy metal icon King Diamond performing the zenith "Abigail" opus in its entirety.

Psycho Las Vegas 2017 - set to take place from August 18th through August 20th, 2017 with a pre-party August 17th at the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada - today confirms Mastodon as its final remaining headliner.

Mastodon’s Hinds Thinks Judas Priest Is Not Metal
Mastodon guitarist/vocalist Brent Hinds has caused quite a stir again with his assessment that Judas Priest is not a "metal band", but rather a rock and roll band. Hinds made his comments on an episode of Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta‘s ‘The Jasta Show‘ streaming below. Explains Hinds on the show:
"I don’t. I don’t really (like metal). (I grew up listening to Judas Priest, but) Judas Priest is not metal, people, it’s rock ‘n’ motherfuckin’ roll! Who in their right mind that has a brain in their head thinks, that Judas Priest sounds like a metal band?"
The Mastodon frontman already raised some eyebrows back in 2015 with his comments about "hating heavy metal"...
