Caro just checked in with this announcement about parting ways with the band's bassist and bring back an old member:
"Due to personal reasons Jacob is no longer a part of Caro, and hasn't been for quite some time now. This of course means that the heavy rumbling bass duty needs to be filled once again..
"We would like to welcome back the almighty Rasmus Munch Nielsen, AKA. Kalke. As some of you know, Kalke was once a member of Caro, but decided to take a little 'vacation' from the band. But we had him with us last Friday in Odense, and everything just felt right.

Danish thrashers Caro are pleased to announce the release of their new album, "Letchworth Village," set to hit stores on July 17th, 2013. The following press release was issued about the album:
"Letchworth Village marks the second full-length for Caro, and although they stick to their roots on this release, Caro manages to capture a tornado in a bottle.
"Fast riffs, screaming solos and guttural vocals that some describe as a cross between Barney from Napalm Death and Randy from Lamb of God, Caro's hard old school thrash is nonstop aggression. Letchworth Village captures the high intensity gritty and energetic live performance of the band and captures it in the studio. The bands aggression can be heard in every track you listen to.
"Caro is a thrash band from Frederikshavn, Denmark. The band was formed in 2007 under the name Omen, but changed to Caro in 2011. The band is inspired by different bands and playing a mix of thrash, death and progressive metal. To date the band has toured extensively in Denmark and Europe as well as played numerous festivals both in and out of their home country. Caro will release new album "Letchworth Village" this coming July 17th, 2013 via Rogue Records America. Today the band has released a new single from the album titled "Blacklisted," which can be heard at the Caro Facebook profile here.
According to a press release, "Letchworth Village" is a "9 song thrash metal assault, showing the band's growth as a thrash band and also showing that Caro is dead serious about the music they create." More...

Rogue Records America has issued the following announcement about inking a deal with Denmark's Caro:
"Rogue Records America’s family is growing, the publisher has set their sights to the part of the world that produced some of the best death metal / thrash metal bands in the world. Today we land in Denmark with the signing of Danish Thrashers Caro. Caro is a thrash band from Frederikshavn Denmark that plays a mix of thrash, death and progressive metal. Formed in 2007 under the name OMEN was reformed as CARO in 2011.
“Caro reminds me of old school thrash…down and dirty and totally in your face. I love that and I miss that style. So when I heard them it made me super happy…I had to be a part of what they are doing in some way," said the labels owner Dean Martinetti.
Caro drummer Sigurd (Sig) Jensen had this to say: “We are very happy to now be a part of the Rogue Records family, this is for sure a big opportunity to get our music out there, and we are totally stoked to see what this will bring in the future.”
