Crash Music has announced a new distribution deal with Super D (SDID), based out of Irvine, California. Super D has the world's largest selection of music, movies and games. As the only worldwide wholesaler, they sell to thousands of independent retailers, major chains, online retailers, other wholesalers and specialty retailers.
"Difficulties with our past distributor had set us back and we now look forward to getting back on track," states the label. Crash Music's next release planned under this agreement is the new Metalium album, "Incubus - Chapter Seven," which is due in May.
German metallers METALIUM have set "Incubus" as the title of their new album, due later in the year via Massacre Records. According to the band, "Incubus" is "carrying on the heavy style and touches very realistic themes like the controversy of the church and 'the evil". The title song, 'Incubus', is an epic song of over eight minutes and original phrases of an exorcism process were used to give the song an extra authentic feel."
"Incubus" track listing:
01. Trust (Intro)
05. Take Me Higher
06. Never Die
07. At Armageddon
09. Meet Your Maker
11. Soulchaser (Japan Bonus)
SINNER have inked a new record deal with MTM Music. The band's current lineup — which includes PRIMAL FEAR bassist Mat Sinner, his FEAR bandmate Tom Naumann (guitars), Frank Rössler (keyboards), METALIUM's Matte Lange (guitars) and former PRIMAL FEAR drummer Klaus Sperling — will enter a studio near Stuttgart in September with producer Achim Köhler to record a new album, entitled "Mask Of Sanity", for a January 19, 2007 release.
Commented MTM president Mario Lehmann: "I'm really pround and especially happy about this signing and that a metal legend like Mat Sinner decided to release his next SINNER album on MTM Music. With 'Mask Of Sanity', we will not only please the traditional friends of hardrock, but also a lot of metal fans!"
Regarding the prospect of working with Klaus Sperling again, Sinner said in a statement, "It's really fantastic to have Klaus back on board and with MTM Music, we found a great trustfully partner for the band's future! I can promise that 'Mask Of Sanity' will be a 100% SINNER album, with a lot of harmony guitars and all trademarks of the SINNER history!"
Klaus Sperling is no stranger to the SINNER songs, as he helped out the band on their Japan tour 1999, their European tour with DIO in 2000 and some open-air performances in Europe. Sperling also played drums on the SINNER version of ACCEPT's classic "Balls to the Wall".
Added Sinner: "We've finished the pre-production for the first bunch of tracks and we're excited. Here are some of the songtitles: 'The Sign', 'Revenge', 'Last Men Standing', 'Thunderroar', 'Mask Of Sanity' and 'Black'."
The new SINNER lineup will make its live debut on October 7, 2006 at the H2O in Reichenbach, Germany. Also appearing on the bill will be PRIMAL FEAR, PUMP and TARGA.
The lineup is close to finalized for Bloodstock 2005 at the Assembly Rooms on 2nd-3rd September. As it stands, there is a wide mix of Thrash, Gothic, Doom, Heavy, Classic, Femme, Power, Metal, and more. The lineup is looking like this:

Prior to hitting the road with Saxon, Dream Evil have to announce some bad and some good news: Lead-Guitarist Gus G. is leaving the band to focus some more on his own band Firewind.
Gus G. gave us a short statement:
Hello my friends! Hope this message finds u well. I would like to announce to you, that I've decided to leave Dream Evil for different reasons, mainly personal. I would also like to concentrate on my own band, Firewind. However, this doesn't mean that I'm not friends with the guys in the band. I split with them under very friendly circumstances. I wish them the best in the future. As for me, you can count on hearing my new releases coming up later this year. I'm sorry if I dissapoint some of you, but...the show must go on! Stay Metal!
The rest of the guys in Dream Evil are sad about the split, but are happy as well to have found a brillant new lead-guitar player. Here is thje band’s statement about the line-up change:
There are no hard feelings; we are still best friends and we wish Gus nothing but the best in his future musical carrier. Second! The good news: Dream Evil is happy to announce that guitar virtuoso and axe-swinger Mark U Black is our new lead guitarist. This guy rips and shreds like a maniac in a true 80's guitar hero style We feel that with Mark’s skills and his ability to give Dream Evil his full time attention, this change will bring Dream Evil to the next level. We have already played some festival shows with him in Europe, and he delivered! We are very much looking forward to joining Saxon on the road in September/ October as we continue to spread the word about our latest album "The Book Of Heavy Metal." All right in the night!
Next to the Saxon tour, Dream Evil are going to play a very special show in London this year. Together with their Italian label-mates Labyrinth they will set the “Underworld’s” stage on fire on November 13th, 2004. World-class player Mark Cross (ex-Helloween, Metalium) is the new drummer for Winters Bane, and will be performing on the band's upcoming album, to be released later this year. Mark's stellar drumming will add a new dimension to the Winters Bane sound, propelling their new songs to greater heights.
With Mark Cross and vocalist Alexander Koch (ex-Powergod) joining founding members Lou St. Paul (guitars) and Dennis Hayes (bass), Winters Bane's strongest lineup is now in place. The band is very confident that their new album will surpass the material on their classic "Heart Of A Killer" opus, which featured Tim Owens (ex-Judas Priest, Iced Earth) on vocals.
Winters Bane is currently in the studio, with rhythm guitars already finished and drum tracks to be recorded later this month.
