Nokturnal Hellstorm - the NY band that famously had an on-stage death metal marriage proposal - has checked in with the following announcement about working on a new album:
"All basic tracks for the next album have been recorded. we will now start mixing/mastering. All other details including release date are yet to be determined.
"In other news, due to a scheduling mistake on my part (Ron) we regret to announce that we have had to drop off the Cromlech show. I would like to personally apologize to Steve, the other bands, and anyone who was hoping to see us there."

Veteran bassist Dan Lilker (Brutal Truth, Nuclear Assault, Nokturnal Hellstorm, etc.) has signed on to compose original music for "Seed to Son," a sci-fi horror short in pre-production in Rochester, NY.
The filmmakers are currently raising funds for the short via kickstarter, where you can find more information about the film and see a teaser featuring music by Lilker. Check it out right here.
Lilker has previously worked with director Mark A. Zuniga on the quirky short Red Balloon 2, available at YouTube.
During Exhumed's November 2nd show at the Montage Musical Hall in Rochester, NY, Nokturnal Hellstorm vocalist Ron Blackwell joined the band onstage to surprise his girlfriend with a gory death metal proposal. Check out the clip below.
Exhumed is currently on tour supporting the band's latest album "All Guts, No Glory" released on July 5th via Relapse Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Anatomy Is Destiny" was recorded at Arcane Digital Recordings in Arizona with engineer Ryan Butler (MISERY INDEX) and at Trench Studios with John Haddad (ABYSMAL DAWN, INTRONAUT). It was mixed and mastered at Mana Recording Studios by Brian Elliott (GRAVES OF VALOR). The album was also made available on deluxe, saw-blade shaped vinyl and as a limited-edition two-disc set.
