Below is our complete The Kennedy Veil news coverage, including columns and articles pertaining to the band. Some articles listed may be indirectly related, such as side projects of the band members, etc.
Sacramento, CA's The Kennedy Veil just welcomed a brand new vocalist to the band's ranks. Monte Barnard, best known for his time spent as the high energy frontman for tech-death shredders Alterbeast, as well as his live stints with Aussie deathcore titans Thy Art Is Murder, will take the reigns as the new frontman for The Kennedy Veil moving forward.
Monte had the following to say about joining TKV: "I could not be more excited to be working with The Kennedy Veil. I've known these guys for years and played with all of their respective projects prior to TKV. As a whole they make up one of the hardest working, most driven bands in the industry, never compromising.
"I have been somewhat of a hired gun for different projects over the last few years so when they approached me to be the new permanent vocalist I instantly agreed. The chance to put my creative stamp on such strong material with my close friends would be moronic to pass up. We've matured as musicians from different backgrounds and influences that mixed together are creating a truly memorable album. I can't wait to show the world what we've been crafting and to hit the road in 2017. Hails!"
The Kennedy Veil had the following to say about having Monte join the band, as well as the amicable parting with former vocalist, Taylor Wientjes: "We know people have been asking, so to clear things up and squash any potential rumors, we parted ways with Taylor earlier this summer due solely to creative differences. There is no bad blood and we are all still friends. Taylor is the permanent vocalist for Inanimate Existence, and we are great friends with all of them as well and wish them and Taylor all the best. The devastating death metal machine that is The Kennedy Veil has consistently impressed in the scant handful of years the California-based band has existed, culminating in a signing with Unique Leader Records and the release of "Trinity Of Falsehood."
Today we're beyond stoked to be premiering a freshly created music video taken off that crushing full-length album. Although the band has done playthrough clips before, this is the debut official music video from The Kennedy Veil!
Check out "King Of Slaves" below and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments section. The Kennedy Veil drummer Gabe Seeber comments on the clip:
"We spoke with the guy who just launched Candy Grenade (video production), and he mentioned he was looking to shoot his first music video. We were definitely keen on the idea and decided to work with him to shoot a video for the song 'King of Slaves,' which is the 5th track on our Unique Leader debut album, 'Trinity of Falsehood.'
"We chose this song because it wasn't previously released as a single, and also because it's one of the heavier, more groove-oriented songs and we wanted to try and showcase the slightly sludgier side of TKV. More...

There are many many artists in music today, from pop to metal, that would not be who they are or where they are without YouTube. The possibilities are endless when the right song or video begins to make the rounds and ends up achieving viral status that was typically never expected or intended.
The Kennedy Veil's own Gabe Seeber has decided to get more involved in creating content for fans to watch and share around via YouTube. The first of several upcoming drum play throughs has now been released for "Mental Crucifixion," a track by melodic tech death band Vale of Pnath, from the 2011 album, "Prodigal Empire."
Check it out below, and stay tuned as many more drum play through clips from Seeber will drop throughout the year.
2014 was a banner year for Gabe, with The Kennedy Veil releasing debut album, "Trinity of Falsehood" on January 21st, 2014 via Unique Leader Records, and immediately hitting the road in support of the album alongside labelmates Lord of War and Arkaik. Gabe was also a member of Sacramento tech death outfit and Unique Leader labelmates, Alterbeast. Gabe re-recorded the drums for what would become that band's UL debut album, "Immortal," which saw a release in March of 2014.
In late Spring of 2014, Gabe confirmed that he would once again be the touring drummer for Decrepit Birth for the Summer Slaughter Tour run, alongside death metal legends Morbid Angel, Dying Fetus and more. About a month after returning home from Summer Slaughter, Gabe hit the road with Alterbeast, alongside Chelsea Grin and headliners Suicide Silence and The Black Dahlia Murder for a month long tour across North America, which included being a part of the VIP Kick Off Party for Knotfest in San Bernardino, CA. In celebration of its official unveiling tomorrow, today This Is Not A Scene is hosting the stream of "Trinity Of Falsehood," the forthcoming new full-length from Sacramento death metal assassins The Kennedy Veil. Hear the full album below, and drummer Gabe Seeber also comments:
"The past two years leading up to this release have been rough, but very beneficial for TKV. From the departure of our previous vocalist to the recording of Trinity Of Falsehood, there was a long period of downtime where we were just seeking the right person to complete the band. We tried out a lot of great vocalists and wound up with the perfect guy to complement our sound and help push us further along the path we've only just begun to carve. By the time Taylor joined, the album was already written, minus a handful of lyrics. So we immediately started pushing to finally complete the album and get it recorded and into production. We all feel that Trinity... is a huge step forward from our self-release (The Sentence of Their Conqueror), and a big step in the right direction for where we are taking things in the future. We are still just getting started, and are extremely excited to finally have this album pressed and ready to be heard!" More...

Today Sacramento death metal heathens The Kennedy Veil bring you "Enslave.Defile.Erase," which can be heard below courtesy of Revolvermag.com.
The vicious little number comes by way of the band's forthcoming "Trinity Of Falsehood" long player. The album was produced by Nick Botelho at NB Recording in Santa Rosa, California and features the debut of new throat Taylor Wientjes. "Trinity of Falsehood" is due out January 21st, 2014.
Comments Wientjes, "Trinity of Falsehood is thematically focused around the concept of religion being deceitful and contradictory, inherently corrupt and filled with excess amounts of greed. In many instances, there's an almost complete disregard to the inconsistencies in their respective doctrines. 'Enslave.Defile.Erase,' in particular, represents the perspective of how religious dogma is perpetuated through faith and lies, and how it can drive men to do both asinine and downright insane things in the name of their respective deities."
Next month, Sacramento death metal militia The Kenendy Veil will drop the "Trinity Of Falsehood" long player upon the planet. The album was produced by Nick Botelho at NB Recording in Santa Rosa, California and features the debut of vocalist Taylor Wientjes.
