Skyharbor Premieres New Music Video

Skyharbor premieres a new music video for "Chemical Hands". Says guitarist Keshav Dhar of the track and clip: "‘Chemical Hands‘ is possibly the boldest, most experimental song we have written to date. After releasing two fairly straightforward singles, we felt it was time to let rip and showcase the more bizarre and angry side of the upcoming new record. Michael Di Lonardo has created an absolutely stunning video for the song, perfectly representing the lyrical theme while being ambiguous enough for fans to pick their brains and stroke their goatees over. We’re stoked, and we hope our fans will be too."

Check out now "Chemical Hands" below.

Skyharbor will be touring Europe coimg October with Sithu Aye and Modern Day Babylon as support on the following dates: More...

Tesseract Announces North American Tour

TesseracT will return to North America for a healthy batch of tour dates slated for later this year. The band has tapped The Contortionist as main support along with Erra and Skyharbor.

"Five years ago we bundled ourselves in to a van and set off on our debut North American tour," says bassist Amos Williams. "It was not only our North American debut but also our first major tour, really."

Dates will kick off on November 2nd at the Theater for Living Arts in Philadelphia and run coast to coast making a few stops in Canada before wrapping things up at Irving Plaza in New York City on December 7th. Tickets will go on sale Friday, August 21 at 10:00 local time.

"We're beyond excited to announce that we're touring with TesseracT," says The Contortionist vocalist Mike Lessard. "They're a band we've always wanted to tour with, so it will be nice to share the road with them finally. This tour is a must see for any progressive fan!"

Williams comments again on that first North American run, where the band originally supported Devin Townsend, "We were lucky enough to be supporting the incredible DTP, from whom we learned how to project and perform. It was an experience that none of us will ever forget. Everything about it was intense, from the traveling in a tiny van, or squeezing the whole band into a single Motel 6 room, through to the stunning crowds, and wonderful friends we made. So, a little over 5 years later it is an awesome feeling to return to the US and Canada to headline a tour with that same line up that traveled all the miles, and worked so hard to get TesseracT to where it is today." Skyharbor Launches Crowd Funding Campaign

Skyharbor has launched a crowd funding campaign to help with the costs of an upcoming album. You can get full details and find the perks for contributing at PledgeMusic.com here. The band also comments:

"Five months ago, we posted out here that we had some huge ambitions for our new album, but were hesitant to do something like this to achieve the required goals. However, the response from you guys was such an overwhelmingly positive one to go ahead and do it - so here it is - a Pledge campaign for our second album!

"Our plan is to enlist the help of legendary Australian producer Forrester Savell for the mixing of this album, and the brilliant animator Jess Cope of Owl House Studios for a beautiful animated music video for a very special piece off the album. With your help, we will be able to realize these dreams and take this new album to an altogether new level from what we could ever hope to achieve by ourselves.

"Beyond just raising funds, if we meet our targets we can show the world at large that we can stand on our own feet with the support of this incredible army of fans that we have on board with us, and that together we can create magic and achieve things that would have been deemed impossible a few years ago. "After 4 years of epiphanies and disappointments, frustration and jubilation, I'm thrilled to finally be getting our debut album out. "Starting out as a simple bedroom studio project, guitarist Keshav Dhar has seen SKYHARBOR quickly evolve into one of India’s hottest metal prospects, with huge admiration coming in from some of the biggest names in metal worldwide.

"An astonishing amount of buzz also surrounded the bands first ever performance at the Bacardi NH7 Festival in Pune, India earlier this month, where they played to over 1,000 people and were one of the weekend’s highlights.

"The long awaited debut album from SKYHARBOR promises to be a landmark release for the Indian independent music scene, in no small part thanks to the incredible number of international guest appearances it will see, including the likes of Marty Friedman (ex Megadeth), Daniel Tompkins (ex TesseracT), Vishal J. Skyharbor Pushes Back Debut Album Release

India's Skyharbor has issued the following statement about pushing back the release of the band's new album:

"Hi everyone, Keshav here. There is some news about Skyharbor that I feel I need to let you all in on. Please read carefully and thoroughly!

"Literally just a few days ago, we were presented with an unprecedented opportunity, one that is almost unheard of for a band from India, and has certainly never been offered to one that is yet to have either its debut album or concert done. This opportunity is so great that I simply could not pass it up, for the long term future and prospects of Skyharbor as a band.

"However, this does mean that our debut album will have to be delayed yet again by a few weeks. I'm very much aware how eagerly all of you are anticipating this release, and I've braced myself for the inevitable backlash that will occur due to this news, especially as it is just days away from the 20th. But I am very confident of one thing - when we are able to reveal the exact nature of what has happened (which will be in a matter of days), you will ALL be very happy, delighted even - our Indian fans because of the nature of the opportunity and what it means for our scene, and our overseas fans because we will now be much more accessible to you!

"What this also means is that we will not be selling the album, CD or digital, at the NH7 Weekender festival (which we are still playing BTW), like we had originally planned - but again, this is only because there will be a much better product coming now.

"I hope that you guys will be understanding and will continue to support us at what is now a very critical moment in our career as a band. In the meantime, please do come out to our show at the NH7 Weekender at 3PM on the 20th, where we will still be playing almost all of the album live! I promise to have more information for you in the coming days."
