Swallow The Sun Record Candlemass Cover

Finnish doomsters have issued the following update:

Last Sunday (3.10.2004) we recorded the vocals for the cover song. The song is 'Solitude' by Candlemass, and it features Albert of Reverend Bizarre on vocals. It was great working (and drinking) with him, and he did an excellent job with the vocals! The song will be released as a bonus track on the U.S. release of 'The Morning Never Came' and on a upcoming single from our second album.

Details on releasing and recording our next album and the single will be posted here later.

Swallow The Sun's debut album, "The Morning Never Came", was released in Europe last November. A North American/ Mexican release is expected through Century Media.

KLV Sign To Firebox Records

A new addition was made to the Finnish label Firebox Records. The new band is called KLV which is actually a pre-Reverend Bizarre project featuring Albert Witchfinder and Earl of Void.

KLV stands for "Kehitysvammaisten Lasten Vanhemmat" (from Finnish - "Parents of Retarded Children"). This band was active before both aforementioned guys started composing and playing under the name of Reverend Bizarre. Firebox says that the band will not record any new material, but re-record the old songs. The recorsing session is to take place in Spring 2005 and the album should be released in September 2005. The band invited a lot of guests for special appearances.

More info at Firebox Records.
