Devastating Enemy Calling It Quits

Austrian metal outfit Devastating Enemy has issued the following announcement about deciding to call it a day:

"After 5 years of existence, two albums and tons of crazy shows and tours we decided to lay this band to rest.

"It was one of the hardest decisions we ever had to face, but we just figured out, that it´s simply not working out anymore.

"At this point we want to thank all of you for your endless support over the years. It´s been a hell of a trip and we´re grateful for every single person who made Devastating Enemy what it is today. Special thanks goes out to our fifth member behind the scenes, Stefan.

"We currently can´t tell you about further plans or circumstances of this separation, but as we wish to give you a proper farewell, we´ll keep you updated.

Austrian act Devastating Enemy has just released a new music video for the track "At The Edge," which is available in the YouTube clip below. "At The Edge" comes from the "Pictures & Delusions" album and was shot at Szene Vienna on November, 3rd 2012.

Austria's Devastating Enemy has released the first teaser trailer for the band's upcoming second full-length album. Check out the video clip below, which features live footage from Vienna and Switzerland.

This upcoming new album follows debut full-length "The Fallen Prophet," and additional details will be announced as they are made available.

Deadlock Announces Tour With The Unguided

German melodic death metal band Deadlock announced a string of European tour dates with The Unguided (featuring guitarist/vocalist Roland Johansson, guitarist Roger Sjunnesson and drummer John Bengtsson all of Sonic Syndicate). Additional support will come from Austrian melodic death metal band Devastating Enemy.
