Italian horror black metal outfit Darkend premieres the pre-release full-album stream of the band's upcoming new album "The Canticle Of Shadows", which will be out in stores next Monday 25 April via Non Serviam Records.

Italian symphonic black metal act Darkend has completed the recordings for the group's third album, which will be entitled "The Canticle Of Shadows."
The album was mixed and mastered by Stefano Morabito (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour Of Penance). The first pressing will be a limited edition, which will containing bonus tracks and some additional artwork. "The Canticle Of Shadows" feature guest performances by "some of the pillars of the old metal scene."
The details of the guest stars along with the release date will be revealed on another date. The cover artwork is shown below and the track list is as follows:

Darkend just released this statement online about splitting with keyboardist Antarktica:
"We would like to announce that we are parting ways with our keyboard player: the split has been friendly and we really wish the best for Antarktica and his future project.

Darkend recently issued the following brief announcement online about recording for an upcoming Nokturnal Mortum tribute:
"Just before entering the studio for the new album, Darkend has been chosen to be part of the official Nokturnal Mortum tribute album. So... let's do this first, in honour of these legendary lunar poets from the Ukraine!"

After closing the year with a performance at Germany's Satans Convention alongside Taake and Inquisition, Italian obscure horror metallers Darkend have just been confirmed for the Steelfest Open Air 2013.
The extreme metal festival will take place in Hyvinkää, Finland on May 24th - 25th featuring Mayhem, Sodom, Destruction, Belphegor, Tsjuder, and more.
Italy's Dark End recently wrapped up a run of European tour dates that saw the band performing with the likes of Cradle of Filth and Rotting Christ. Now footage has made its way online of Darkend performing live at Club "Bingo" in Kiev, Ukraine.

Italian act Darkend has just been confirmed for Satan's Convention 2012 with Naglfar, Taake,
Angantyr, Inquisition and many others. The festival will take place in Halle 101, Speyer – Germany, on December 29th.

Symphonic horror metal band Dark End has announced that "Grand Guignol - Book I" will be out at the end of the month, first in a special limited edition version of only 500 copies. Full details of this first press will be announced shortly.

After it was recently revealed that Six Reasons To Kill will be joining the upcoming "Lux Mundi" European tour with Samael and Keep of Kalessin, more opening bands have since been announced.
