"At last, we have reached the end, the final day before Terrapin is released. When I think back to when I first began demoing the ideas for this album, OTS consisted of mainly myself and my computer. Outrun The Sunlight To Release New Album

Rogue Records America is pleased to announce that Chicago prog metal outfit Outrun The Sunlight will release second full-length album "Terrapin" on December 16th, 2014. The label comments:

"Outrun The Sunlight transports the listener through an instrumental progressive metal blend that combines heavy instrumentals with elements of jazz, post-rock, ambience, and orchestral music, to form emotional and epic songs.

"Terrapin is a monumental release for Outrun The Sunlight as it features a full five-piece incarnation of the band, which is a considerable change from their original duo-oriented line-up. With these new line-up additions comes a growth in the band’s already full and layered sound – adding even more depth to the structure of the songs and a much more 'live' finished sound." More...
