Thirty years have passed since GWAR awoke from the prison of Antarctic slumber in 1985. Since that time, the band has used broadswords and guitars to shape the music and culture of mankind.
30 years later, the world sucks more than it ever has, and humans have GWAR to thank! Three decades of bloodlust, throttling the life from humanity, and perverting the human imagination have left no doubt that GWAR rules supreme!
What better way to celebrate this momentous occasion than with a spectacular victory lap bringing death and depravity to cities across America? GWAR's "30 Years of Total Domination Tour" is a celebration of unimaginable torment. Expect more blood and bodily fluids than ever before as your Lords and Masters take on the newest threat to their very existence - the Internet! That's right, GWAR is going to kick the Internet's ass; if they can ever stop jerking off to porn long enough to find it.
Pustulus is none too pleased about the situation, having this to say while "taking 5" from his weekly schedule of drawing dicks on bible pages: "I've survived prisons, gulags, religious protests, surfing a crucial wave on D-Day, and even an ISIS spaghetti dinner, so this is nothing. Bring it on! GWAR is coming! Where is Baltimore?"
Support on the tour will come from Butcher Babies and Battlecross. Dates are as follows: More...

Butcher Babies just completed work on a sophomore full-length album with producer Logan Mader (Five Finger Death Punch, Gojira). The new offering is set for a Fall release through Century Media Records.
The band will also join up with In This Moment on April 18th in Montclair, NJ for a massive, five week North American tour with Upon A Burning Body and The Nearly Deads, which will be preceded by a slew of dates alongside Upon A Burning Body. See below for all dates.
Heidi Shepherd (vocals) states: "This upcoming tour is really special to us. Not only do we get to see so many of our friends that we have accumulated around the country through our music, but it’s also our first chance to play some songs off of the new album. Our fans have been so patient waiting for new music. In true Butcher Babies fashion we never do anything half-assed, so it took a little while. Playing these songs on this tour will be a little treat for our dedicated fan base. Also, to be back out with In This Moment is a huge honor. They have been so supportive of us and they put on an incredible live show.
"To all the Butcher Babies fans old and new, you’ve inspired us so much throughout the years. After every show, we do a free meet and greet at our merch booth. Be sure to come stop by and say hello. We would be honored to meet you."
Carla Harvey (vocals) further adds: "It is crazy to think that this will be our ninth big national tour since our first big tour in mid 2012. We feel like old road dogs now as we recognize all the truck stop showers and coffee shops all across the states. However, the best thing about touring is seeing all the familiar faces in the crowd. Our fans have become dear friends over the last few years and every night feels like a family reunion at our after show merch booth meet and greets."
Henry Flury (guitars) says: “Every time we pass through a city we see more and more faces screaming along to the lyrics to our songs. You guys have no idea how that makes us feel. Now we have a few new face melting surprises in store for you guys and we can't wait to see you sweat it out with us in the pit!" More...

Carla Harvey, one half of the female-fronted duo that screams for the Butcher Babies, is out now with her new novel "Death and Other Dances."
A second excerpt from the book has also now been posted online and can be read at Loudwire.com here. The following press release was issued about the novel:
"This semi-autobiographical work tells the story of Autumn Franklin - an awkward, biracial Detroit native - that is disconnected from her peers at an early age because of her background. When Autumn's young parents divorce, she becomes even more withdrawn, yet survives the cards that she's been dealt by relocating to the alluring City of Angels, where she has but one goal: to find herself. Struggling to make solid connections with those around her, Autumn swallows her reservations and pushes limits to the extreme as she transitions between a drastic career change: from the bowels of the adult entertainment industry to her rebirth as a mortician. There amongst the dead, she learns what it is to live, love, and to allow others inside, finally landing in the most comfortable place of all: her own skin." More...

Butcher Babies' Carla Harvey (vocals) comments: "It was a blast recording songs that we have been fans of our entire lives and putting our spin on them. We all chose a song that had some significance to us. My pick was 'They're Coming to Take Me Away' by Napolean XIV because I have a vivid memory of my stepdad, who I considered completely insane, playing it over and over again on his car stereo when I was a pre-teen. The song is about being taken away to a mental institution. I can still see him tapping his fingers on his steering wheel to the beat..."
Heidi Shepherd (vocals) adds: "As an eight or nine-year-old little girl, I used to rummage through my parents' albums and 8-tracks looking for some cool music. In hopes that my parents had at least a little bit of good taste, I would play every single song looking for something that I could latch on to. That's when I came across 'Crazy Horses' by The Osmonds; it was the heaviest song I had heard at that age. I would play that song over and over and over again, I was addicted. To this date, it's still one of my favorite songs and reminds me so much of growing up in Provo, Utah."
In regards to Butcher Babies' cover of The Osmonds' "Crazy Horses," Donny Osmond comments: "When we released 'Crazy Horses,' we were pushing against what The Osmonds were known for, but it became a greatest hit. The Butcher Babies have reinvented this song in a creative and innovative way -- and that's what music is about. Now...What if I had recorded 'Puppy Love' like this?" More...
