Gorematory Regroups, Announces New Members

Death metal act Gorematory announced in December of 2011 that the band was calling it quits. The group has now issued the following announcement via Facebook about continuing on with new members:

"Well...its time. After several talks and thoughts, its best to bring Gorematory back. We will be having a show coming up in the early Spring in Edison, New Jersey, followed by a new full length to be released in the late summer/early fall of 2012, named Parasite's Reign.

"Kevin Lopez has decided not to participate in this due to wanting to pursure other genres of music, but will still be involved in some new ways.

"Jerry and Kevin have been replaced by Adam Kerman and Zach Stern from Mortum/Nuklearenpest. We look forward to playing for you all again and to record and release the next album!"

Gorematory Calls It Quits

U.S. based death metal act Gorematory has checked in with the following announcement about deciding to call it quits:

"We regret to inform all of you but due to personal differences, we can no longer continue Gorematory. It has been a great 3 years, and we want to thank all of our friends and fans that supported us for these years. We had some great times with all of you.

"Vince and Kevin will be moving on to their new death metal project Rue Morgue, and expect an update from a project from Jerry as well. Its been a fun 3 years, best of luck to all of you!

"NOTE: This page will still stay up to inform everybody of new projects that all 3 of us are doing, so check back in for updates on any projects that Vince and Kevin are doing in Rue Morgue, and what Jerry Bakman does in the future."

Woods of Ypres Drops Off Goregrowler's Ball

Due to contract obligations with their record label, Woods of Ypres is forced to cancel their appearance at this year's Goregrowler's Ball. The band will be writing and recording a new album instead and apologizes to their fans for this cancellation and promised to make it up.

Replacing Woods of Ypres on this Metalunderground.com-sponsored festival will be Dehumanized, who has not played a live show in nearly ten years.

Tickets for the fifth annual Goregrowler's Ball are on sale now. The event is set to take place in San Antonio, Texas on November 18-20, 2011.
